I Do have empathy for those in life who suffer at the hands of others because of no fault of their own, regardless of what the pigment of their skin is. What I do not like is hearing people constantly put down a society that has given them the freedom to express themselves freely , but all they can see is the color of the people around them.

Africa has long been a place of the few ruling over the many. Impoverished people over there often have rulers that are filthy rich.

The strong subjugate the weak. Very few strong people protect the weak. So you get situations where the people are ruled under the very real and ever close threat of violence.

Can a group of people be weak? Yes. Can a race as a whole be weak? No.

I'll play along a bit here since you wanna talk about a whole group of people being weak.

If there is such a difference between the "races" than what say you of the enslavers?

Pretty sure the modern psychological world would have a whole series of case studies for text book examples of psychopathic/sociopathic behavioral patterns.

He is implying that that selling ones own people into slavery (cousins, neighbors, family) to the white man for profit,
is a sign of weakness.

Cultures is the correct way to say it. Some are more orgnized societies than others and because of mankind's tendency to wage war some cultures or races have been subjugated to others.

At one point or another in history all races have been subjugated to other societies or other races. It goes back to mans tendency for war

It is the worship of one's self, greed, that leads to such immorality.

So yes, the ruling class was spiritually weak and sold their people into slavery to make a quick buck.

The people who were sold were merely born into a country with no protections for them. That is not weakness.

The inability to defend yourself does not always equal weakness. There is always someone with a bigger stick.

It seems that people, particularly white people in this country, seem to forget those little things, like Selma, Little Rock, Montgomery, Rosa Parks, Emmett Till, MLK, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to grant the access to schools and colleges,(wow, I wonder why they are behind educationally, considering their parents were the 1st to attend college, if they were lucky) no matter what the fucking race was (black?), and a few hundred other obstacles that the former slaves in this country have had to overcome, and still do today.
Then, today you still have some white boys calling the blacks "lazy". Shit, I'd love to see those fuckers deal with the environment the black person has had to deal with in the the 250 YEARS since they were allowed to be a "free man" in America.
