At the moment heat isnt a problem. And i will have an ac unit when it gets warmer where i live. Its still in the 40s outside so i have to use heat inside to keep temp up

Shes a beauty grojoe90. I cant get my plants to stack like that. Maybe its just the fact im using cfls not hps. Im pretty sure my electrical cant handle hps lights.
I use 2 125w cfls and 1 100w mh. Cfls are ok, they'll get the job done. If you want bushier plants with cfls, keep the cfl closer to them during the first few weeks of life. I'm looking for another mh or hps to replace my cfls. Like I said, they get the job done but I'm much more impressed with the 100w mh I have.

I was thinking that hps and mh would be alot better. But since this was my first groe i didnt want to shell out the money to get the mh/hps light and set up before i knew if i could actually grow anything useful. I was just hoping i didnt kill everything like soo many people do.

Hello All,
I have 2 flowering plants and 3 baby clones. All my babies are under several cfl lights. Plenty of light for my babies along with natural sun. I have a fan oscilating and blowing on the top of the plants. Humidity is kept between 30 and 50 depending on weather outside as it rains alot here. Temperatures are kept between 65 and 80 Fahrenheit. I have a clone of XJ13 i acquired from a dispensary that was rootbound when i got it but i took a few weeks to nurse it back to health since she wasnt eating for the first 2 weeks i got her. Now she eats like a champ. I put her into flowering 3 and a half weeks ago and her buds are producing nicely. I water her about every other day as she is in fox farm organic soil. I give her nutes about twice a week with the general organics go box. Since shes in flowering its just cal mag and 2 different budding nutrients now. I ph the nutes to about 6.5.
I also have a cherynobl plant that was grown from seed and vegged for about 2 months. She has been topped several times so shes a giant bush. She is in coco air. I water her every other day as well and will spray the top of the coco air right before lights out as coco air needs more water than soil. I giver her nutes about twice a week with the general organics go box as well. I ph nutes to about 6 for this girl. She has been in flowering for 5 weeks tomorrow. Shes producing nice buds but i have noticed that some of the pistils are already turning amber. Not sure if they are changing colors do to being touched by me or my cat. Not quite sure why they r changin so early.
I also have 3 baby clones. 1 critical sensi star. 1 LSD and 1 cannatonic clone. I got them all from a dispensary as well a couple weeks ago. I have them under a combination of cfls and LED lights during vegging. I water them once a week since they dont drink that much as they are small. I only give very small amounts of nutrients from the general organics grow box once a week. They are in fox farm organic soil so i ph the nutes to about 7. I have topped the sensi star and cannatonic and fimmed the LSD.
The first 2 pics are of the cherynobl plant.

The next two are of the XJ13 and she looks like shes gonna have the best buds.View attachment 3636666 View attachment 3636667this is the LSD clone View attachment 3636669 this the critical sensi star clone and i am most excited to see how this one turns out.View attachment 3636672this is the cannatonic clone

Any input would be appreciated.
Dang that Chernobyl though! I bet it's gonna frost up late. The plants look good, i agree with switching to an HID though, thats how you get that tight fat structure. The flowers on that cherynobl would be crazy under an hid.

Right. One of my friends gave her to me 10 days into flower so i havent done too much but luckily he told me everything about her so i didnt shock her when i brought her home. Shes got an insane amount of buds. I dont even care if they are fluffy buds. An hid light would be great but looking at my electrical in my apartment doesnt hold more than 15 amps a circuit. Lamesauce!

A 400 watt HPS is only like 3.6A

15 amps is plenty, actually thats good for a 1000w hps but i wasnt recommending that much power to start with lol. The truth is, if you are using 400 actual watts of cfl's then you can simply buy a 400 watt hps kit and use the same amount of power but with double the yield however cooling will be slightly different but well worth it. Most people get intimidated when they think HID idk why lol 400 watts is 400 watts period ect. 400w÷120v=3.3a
