Right now it is just glued to a thin sheet of aluminum, although something a bit more sturdy will likely be added to the backing because the aluminum is much too flimsy. Another issue is that it is difficult to get a stable current across that many LEDs. In total there are 10x5 meters (164 feet) of 300x SMD 5050. Here is what it looks like so far. will post more pics when final product is finished. cheers.
