i got some seeedlings and these bastard black ants are everywhere .
that might work i need a homeade recipe i cant afford it besides 1 parts borax 10 parts sugar or myaple syrup for both adults and larvae .Ants by themselves, unless they are leaf cutters, usually don't harm plants in my experience. They do however consort with insects like aphids who do. If you sprinkle some diatomaceous earth on the surface of your soil it will deter them.
im growing inside pots though .Im growing many different flowers daisies wild roses sunflowers .When I grew outside I'd get ants after a good rain, got some of those raid ant baits and stuck em in the ground. Problem solved and I didn't have to spray anything on my babies.
black ants prefer different food some like veggies some like fruit some like meat some like sugar so its gonna be a tough fight .considering i got dogs so a trap would be a painMaybe you could, get those sticky traps and place them on the ground,
where the ants are,
then place something sweet in the middle of it so they go after it but get stuck on the adhesive bits.
right asshole ants need to go search for piss somewhere else.Lure them in with mt.dew, then hit em with a blowtorch....gnats,ants,etc...aphids and mites are trickier. They are usually on leaves and leaves dont like the blowtorch.
Lol....right wish asshole anys need to go search for piss somewhere else.
I dunno man..black ants are bad news..those fuckers will burrow into your house and breed by the million...killing a few here and there probably isnt going to help if you have an infestation. If you are renting, hide your plants and hit up the landlord, lol.lol they'll be protecting my ganja nah but your right i gotta do something
That makes it easier actually, you can do a bait at the base of each pot. Or sprinkle ant powder around the ground surrounding your pots.im growing inside pots though .Im growing many different flowers daisies wild roses sunflowers .
What you can, what I would do, go to your local store, see what brands they have write them down.Great idea or ant fire killer dust heard its organic used as food grade for cows or horses or some shit
Mix a small amount of borax (sodium borate) with corn syrup or something sweet and put it in a bottle cap. Put the bottle cap where the ants go... You'll never see them ever again.I've got ants in my kitchen. I just sprinkled (food grade) Diatomaceous Earth in every nook and cranny. Haven't seen an ant in 3 days.
