Ordering Single Seeds -- Bad Idea?

I was just going to pay the $33 for the 3 pack of Super Lemon Haze, but for a little bit less than that I could get 2-3 different single seeds for different strains using herbies pick 'n mix.

I for sure wanted 1x Green House Super Lemon Haze, but I can't make up my mind between 1x Barney's Pineapple Chunk, or the 1x DNA Genetics LA Confidential.. or is getting the single seeds not a good idea? I really don't want to wreck my only chance to have a Super Lemon Haze... craving her really bad.

Guaranteed Selections:
Green House FEM Super Lemon Haze (single or 3pk?)

Recommendations Needed:
- Heavy indica dominate with just a bit of sativa to tickle the brain
- Anything amazing that could be found on herbs pick n mix

Trying to get this ordered now, but can't make up my dang mind.

I dont know why you think getting single seeds would be a bad idea, im not being a smart ass just not understanding hehe.
plenty of great genes in those strains

Slh imo is the most stable of the 3. Barneys is hit or miss. La connie is great but finding a pheno that produces is low percentage. Would require a pack or two.

On the other hsnd if u get one femsle out of 3 slh chances are the plant u grow would resemble the breeders description.

But u could alway get super lucky n if u keep pollen more variety could b of use obviously.

Any way you want. Of course if you are a new grower, different strains growing together can act completely different from one another in almost every way. Sometimes like they are different species altogether.
That aside, ( and thats what I do cause the Mrs likes variety) go for it !

This would be my first time ordering beans and I know that I am overthinking which strains to pick up. I am dead set on the greenhouse SLH (just can't decide if I want the 3pack or a single seed), however I need to find another strain to run that's primarily a heavy indica dominate with just a bit of sativa to tickle the brain, lol. I haven't had a break in 2-3 years for medical reasons and I feel that my tolerance is pretty high.. at least for the stuff around here.. need a solid choice for a single seed. Suggestions?

I've gotten singles because I wanted to try the strain and a cost for a pack was out of budget. I've also gotten packs because of breeder specials, buy a pack get this free.
Another thing is this for personal or sharing? If it's personal you probably don't a ton of the same strain since your body will build a tolerance. So variety would be a good idea.

I have always used the single seed center..huge selction, great price, always received quality fem'd products. I love experimenting with different strains...I am currently growing 2 barney's farm strains...Violator Kush...COUCH LOCK!...And ..LSD...She is mostly indica with a nice amount of sativa...very 'creative' high...take a look::

Oh and BTW...Most if not all of the banks will be running lots of good freebie promos next month for the holiday!

I like to purchase my year of seeds in April...great freebies, and smoker 'gear' I usually get some papers, a grinder, I got a GH Seeds Lanyard once...stupid B.S. BUT, again the freebie beans are great.

Oh indeed, got to love the freebies that some sites offer.
I usually use Attitude, one time I got a G13 Labs coffee cup for free.
My last order I got 3 different strain packs, got hooked up with 8 additional seeds, all different strains, for free!

I ordered from nirvana, planted 2 ww and they both popped. I got 10 free seeds with my order so kind of excited to see what those are.

My take, always get the pack, at least I do, I prefer to run a strain at least twice, the first time to learn it's characteristics(feed needs, stretch, how it flowers) and the second time to grow it better by using what I learned on its first run, odds are one of the freebies you get will be your indica strain, or maybe even a nice auto to run while you veg your slh, just my .02:peace:

I order the Pick&Mix singles because I like a variety. Sometimes the price per seed is more when you order quantity (3pks, 5pks, etc) it is the same price if not a few cents more, which never has made sense to me!

I bought aurora-indica and papaya from nirvana's circa 13' n also received ten freebies, but they ( freebies ) never popped - NOT one .! I tried scraping to soften them but none germ'd.! I've been growing my own personal for 5ish yrs,( 8/9 plants in tent- uk )- those freebies and only one other seed- (widow. feminised seeds ) are the only ones i've been unable to germ.. Happy growing,
