LOVE being in this business! Lots of us around! Now this is just me but a SOIL runoff of 4.9 - 5 seems too low. Even an ideal Hydroponic ph is higher than that. Your soil ph should ideally be 6.0 - 7.0, in a hydro set up 5.5 - 6.5 is ideal. You need to adjust your pH before you pour the water over your plants. Maybe if you pour it at a 7.0 or slightly above, your runoff will be more within the ideal range for your plants to use nutes efficiently when you start feeding. Do you have some pH up and pH down solution from General Hydroponics? Baking soda and vinegar can also be used to adjust pH, but the GH solutions will take less time and guesswork out of the equation. Man you sure are patient, even though you don't have a lot of leaves on the burnt plant yet, those two molded/burnt leaves would have to be snipped! As far as the distance from the light I have used CFLs and had them about that close with no problems so ... Let your girls talk to you and tell you if they are too close. You are off to a good start though with some nice strains. Hose tap roots look good and healthy! I will be glad when you get your tent. It should make managing your grow a bit easier.

My tap runoff is 7.4
But ive already stuck the seeds in the dirt i hosed down with 6.3.
Should i get some dolomite lime for my future growing because i bought a BIG bag of FFHF probably around 30lbs and im starting to think i should add some of that. I chose happy frog over ocean forest because of the ass load of beneficial bacteria so those roots get huge. But apparently it doesn't come ph'd. Thank you fir the support once i get shit back on track im thinking of starting a journal. I would like to grow these autos under a 600w for veg, and outdoor flower. Idk if youve heard about think different but ppl are pulling 100g easy theyre first grow with that strain welk think big was just released end of 2015. Dutch passion took 100 think different plants and chose the three biggest plant for think big's genetics i expect at least 150g off her if i can keep her alive lol.
I have a few freebies i will plant closer to season(all dinafem) and a ghost train haze #1 by rare dankness i will plant. Planning on cloning thc bomb and ghost train at least twice maybe some outdoor scrog

Your tap water is like mine and I don't lower it before I water/feed. My pH run off is always between 6.0 and 7.0 so I have stopped testing every time I water. By all means top dressing your plants with some dolemite lime will be cool in your next grow. It certainly can't hurt when used in moderation. Whoa! Slow down Cowboy! LOL! You have got some big plans for future grows bruh; I LOVE that enthusiasm! I get giddy like that too but commited to doing 10 plants or less at a time --- 5 in my veg tent, 5 in my flowering tent. That way I always have a supply of medicine on hand and things don't get beyond what I can handle comfortably -- financially, time, effort, overcrowding, etc. You are doing something I have NEVER done before and that is grow an auto flowering strain! How is the smoke? Also, you should not have to concern yourself with vegging your autos one way and flowering another should you? I thought they would flower no matter what light cycle they were under. I will have to research these strains and maybe I will try one! What's the best auto strain you have smoked? I am looking to place a seed order soon so maybe I will try one. I wonder how long they take from seed to harvest? Much shorter than a standard grow I suspect. Man I am buzzed as hell, seeing double, and rambling on and on with my every thought!!! You have a good evening and we will touch base soon. I am watching this thread so I can see how your girls come out, but with all the strains you run at one time a grow journal would be great!

Im going to start giving them straight tap. If your using tap and your runoff is in the gold zone im gonna have to try it. This is my first auto grow and the only other grow ive done was when i grew two MONSTER tree sized plants that i spent 8 months on just for them to be males... Lol
As far as autos go... Man they have come far. The breeders say 60 days but the ones u want are gonna take 90. But that doesn't mean only buy the ones the breeders say 90 it means buy them and expect around 90 days. And the GSC im growing has around 22% thc and they smoke just as well as there non auto counter parts. Ive only had auto weed once and i couldn't tell the difference. Some noteable seedbanks with dank autos are: dutch passion, fast buds, sweet seeds, cream of the crop, short stuff (check out super stinky for a massive outdoor 4month auto) , barneys farm, bomb seeds and few few other diamonds are out there but wont come to mind.
Look up dark devil real quick i meant to order three but forgot to this order. Its black weed with high thc lol and also look up the lsd-25 im growing. Only issue eith DD is u are only gonna get an oz or two... Maybe three in dwc... As autos love dwc because they dont have to use energy to push roots through soil which gives them more energy in there short veg period to put on about 20% more foilage and budsites. But i tried to grow 5 in dwc and couldn't get past the rockwhool... IT SUCKED. That why im in soil for now until i get my exp up. Lol i said tht like its a video game. I know what u mean i do the same, just project my thoughts with out even knowing it
The reason why i want to do indoor veg outdoor flower is because autos dont get as big outdoors because theu only get the regular sun hours which affects how big they get on veg which in turn affects your yeild. So if i keep them indoors at 20-4 for all of veg then give them that super strong sun for buds (and maybe even back to the hps at night) i think they will RETARDEDLY HUGE and only take around 11 weeks so i can do three batches

Wow you have a lot of info about those autos. I have decided to try a couple of them! I am hoping you have pics of the MONSTER tree sized plants you grew; you must grow outdoors more than in? All of my grows have been indoor so I don't get to grow monster trees though I would LOVE to at some point. Monster females could give me poundage upon poundage!!! I get giddy thinking about the possibility of that. I have a greenhouse outdoors but need to create more privacy so I won't feel paranoid about someone seeing my girl(s). I know folks say growing dwc is great but thus far I haven't tried it. Soil is just soooo much more forgiving of learning mistakes ya know? It's so much easier to help your plant bounce back in soil from what I've read, but I will never know until I try so dwc will be a future experiment. My current experiment is revegging a white widow x big bud plant, as well as growing some girls under the flowering light cycle from seed. Will see how it all pans out. You mentioned a lot of seed banks and I am looking to try new ones. Do you have a favorite? I have only used Attitude and Herbies thus far, and my next order is going to be Nirvana for the first time 'cause I hear they are super stealth. What do you think?

oh yeah definitely but most guys are buying that crap out of the bag and dumping it in. i actually recommend happy frog as a add in or even base media for like porch grows and stuff cause it generally doesn't dry nearly as fast as someone using like promix or something like that on a porch.

I always customize my soil mix but don't do it from scratch. Right now I'm running a super porous mix in my large pots. Equal parts: Pro mix hp, FF ocean forest, coco chips.

I transplanted the thc bomb two days ago. And put her in the shed with a 4x4x3ft boarder around it (so i could see how much room my tent will give me. Its been hard to manage temps but i got it under control now for the most part. I use a red wave heat light to about 4ft away from them.
Last night around 12am it was 44f outside and 73f in the grow area. at 6am it was 41f and 65.8f in GA. Right now its 9am 51f outside 82f in GA
So 73,67,82
got both fans on now... To cool it down. so i got some big temperature changes but they seem to be toughing it out so far. Which i think may have been a little low. But i had the fan running on low which i think aided in that. Today im gonna give the thc bomb her first feeding of ph.7 with:
Bioroots .4ml gal
Flora grow .3ml gal
Flora micro .6ml
Flora bloom .3ml gal
And some cal/mag because im using 48hr RO water
The white powder mold has hasn't spread at all. I'll probably chop the affected leaves in a few days after i believe the root system has been established.
Now onto the autos
Man i think that green crack is on some of her own stash cause she sure is full of energy!!! LOL She germinated a whole 30hrs ahead of her two counter parts and is about 2 days ahead of them in growth since. She stretched way up to the cfl like 1-2 in away from it. Lol she loves it i got worried about the stretching though so i transplanted her into a 5Gal bucket next to the thc bomb. And buried her stem ive got 3 60w cfls over each about 4-5 in from leaves. And back in the dresser uve upgrade to a bendlamp so that they can all get equal light. The GSC is waaaaaay BEHIND idk why. Maybe mutant. Shes had a rough life so far. I helped her shed her shell but the membrane stayed and hardened without me knowing and after i got it off i slightly tore the corner of its good leaf. Its slooooooowly making two new ones. The LSD-25 and think big are growing sideways to get to the light. The tents otw and ill probably have to get a AC unit with temperature control.
When i grew those two males i was a teenager. This is my first time going at it again. Much more seriously this time. Ive done my research for sure. But everyone needs help now and then.

What are the benefits of revegging? Does it work like monster cropping?
The mix for the thc bomb is 30% perlite and i put in 2 cups of soil then 1/4th a cup of perlite and mix after every 3 cycles so it gets well distributed i put in 25% perlite because FFHF is 5%perlite.
I put the auto in straight FFHF because i ran out of perlite. But the soil that was in its cup is 30%
PS The third photo shows the green crack to theft stretching before it was transplanted LOOK HOW CLOSE SHE STRETCHED and the 4th has the current setup in the baby room with the GSC in the back TB to the right and lsd25 to the right

Gave the trouble plant her first feed last night. No signs of PM spreading
All the autos are doing great think big has surpassed green crack already but she's also supposed to get much bigger lsd-25 has also surpassed GC. Gonna transplant them in two days.
Girls scout cookies still not doin shit.

Looks like everybody is happy Bruh!! The revegging experiment will get me back to flowering/budding much faster from a plant I chopped that produced some awesome smoke. It is a strong white widow girl and she grew BEAUTIFULLY with a smoke, smell and taste to die for. I started a new seed of the strain as well but liked that specific girl so much I maintained her lower growth after the chop and put her back in veg. She is growing thicker/bushier already and has only been revegging for about 1 1/2 weeks. From what I have read about revegging she will be ready to throw in the flowering room in another 1 1/2 to 2 weeks and buds will take off like crazy and be more plentiful because she has already been there and done that! So I guess to answer your question in a nutshell, the benefit I hope to gain from revegging is a much faster more bountiful harvest of some super dank smoke
. I am soooo glad to read that girl you thought had mold is doing well. She looks to be right on track, no worries! Tuned in to see how the grows progress! You have a lot of good stuff going on. You will definitely need an A/C in GA before the sweltering summer months come upon you! I am looking to install one soon too so I can keep my grow spaces 75 - 85 degrees ideally. I also have my girls' lights on scheduled during the night now so I can garden after work during the late night when everyone is asleep in the house and neighborhood. This also keeps me off the electric company radar, and will hopefully lower my electric bill just a tad, and also lets me run the hot lights when outside temps are much lower so my plants don't get cold at this time of year. When I was running lights during the day I noticed I would go in the grow space first thing in the morning before work when lights came on and temps had gotten as low as 45 and 50 in there during the night even with a space heater running! Can't have that! So I let the girls sit in darkness for 24 hours with the space heated and then reset my lights on time to night time. Liking that MUCH better so far. I think I may give Midweek Song a try at some point, eager to see if Nirvana is all I have read it is!

Last night was a warm 55F all i had to do as far as keeping them warm was put in an extra cfl. I turn the lights off at 10am to 4pm. Because it gets hot quick in a tin shed. Yesterday it was 89F at 1pm in the grow space thats with lights off and both fans blowing on high. I think im gonna do what u did with your undergrowth on either the thc bomb im growing now or the gost train haze im planting in two weeks. Or hell maybe both. U said they bush out? I am getting an ac unit off craigslist next week i think battling heat will be my biggest struggle. But if put an ac in there it wont be.
What size light are you using? I have a 600w i got on ebay for $100
