Will have to look into this in the future then. HID's are troublesome in my grow room due to heat. I'd love something that didn't pump out as much heat but produced similar results.
Well this is new for me as well I guess we'll see how it works out. What I CAN tell you at this point is im kinda struggling with heat atm...having trouble keeping it above 73f...this is definitely a change.Im partially blocking my passive intake to keep temps up.During the summer it will be easier, but now ambient is 69f in the house and the grow closet sits at 73f.

Im going to stay with 1.5ml micro,4ml bloom, .5ml liquid koolbloom in 1.9 liters of degassed tap water.Works out to 1.1 ec. I think ill be trying this profile through the rest of flower. Will see how it goes.

Getting a set of 14° lenses sent to me free of charge, ill be installing those when they arrive. This unit currently has the 50° lenses installed.Anyways its giving her a couple days to get used to the new environment.

Still feel like im getting to much nitrogen, tap is 40ppm so I dont want to drop micro due to other goodies im there.Going to try .5ml cal/mag,.5ml micro,4ml bloom,1ml koolbloom.Im thinking this should drop nitrogen more, while keeping everything else I need and keeping the ec the about the same.Eventually ill find a sweet spot for this plant.

Who invited the sales rep? Can we get back to buds in a closet. P.s. I went over to gc, posted a pic about 3 weeks ago of a plant that was bleached out from too much light intensity, I had 18 different people tell me it was mag deficient, not light bleached, funny thing is instead of listening to all 18 of their experts I gave it 24 hrs in the dark and turned down my lights a bit when I put it back in, no magnesium, now she's throwing 9 finger leaves as green as they get, still no cal mag used, thanks gc, congradulations on being the largest cannabis forum online, but I think I'll stay here:peace:

Sorry for the rant @Resinhound

Light intensity and mag use are tightly joined,as mag is used heavily during photosynthesis. But therw becomes a point where intensity isn't a good thing, specially when its concentrated.Id rather have a nice even light distribution personally. And im always more concerned with quality over quantity.I want good meds first, yield second. Thanks for your comments guys, ill just keep ignoring the trolls, pay them no mind:)

Lol,1200w on a 6" seedling, don't think all the mag in the world would have helped

Glad to see you are enjoying the apache. Look forward to seeing how things develop. You going to keep the 50s on or switch to the 14s?

I have the 14 installed now,I may go to 50's in the center portion..depends really on how the plant shapes up..but I dont think ill change it for this grow anyways, she seems to like them well enough. My trichome arent getting burned off and the leaves/buds arent getting bleached so thats a good start :)

Old man rambling time..

The small bud indicated with the red arrow,I had at one time almost removed. But honestly I couldnt bring myself to do it,it was a late comer to the party and barely made the outside of the canopy before flower.I admired the resolve of this little shoot so I decided to keep it.Well I peeked at it closer today and that little guy is really filling out underneath :) Glad I decided to keep the little guy.( girl I guess I should say)

Take care all

Jasmonic acid...for anyone thats interested I use this once a week in a foliar with some yucca saponins added,it seems to really make the trics bust out.I wouldnt use it more than that as ive read some studies pointing to adverse effects if overused. It works by stimulating the plants defences as if it was under insect attack.Used sparingly in the final weeks seems to make a difference for me.Plants under stress in the wild will produce this acid to help cope with environmental or other stresses.

Later guys...
