Cops Woke Up Naked Woman, Ordered Her to Show Them a Gun, Then Killed Her

Deanne Choate wasn’t touching a gun when police entered her room. In fact, they demanded she find the weapon for them—and shot her anyway.

Deanne Choate was sleeping naked under the covers when a trio of cops flicked on the lights and came barreling into her bedroom with guns drawn, believing she posed a lethal threat.

The police officers from Gardner, Kansas, roused her awake and ordered her to show the gun her boyfriend told them she had fired. When she did that after throwing on a hoodie, police opened fire anyway, putting her to sleep for good.

They seem to be mostly accountable. There will always be examples of bad police behavior. Those cops are usually prosecuted.

Maybe, maybe not.

What is clear though is when Cops DO murder people, they wake up every morning knowing after the "internal investigation" the odds are heavily in their favor they will get away with it.

so I'm at Walmart last night after the gym grabbed some things plus muffin and a drink..I pull into one of their spaces off to the side away from foot traffic and backed my car in..immediately a brand new white suv came up near me pulled in a few spaces away the pulled out and parked catecorner shining its headlights directly into drivers side window..well I've got fucking limo tint this person is not gonna see anything..hehe..I'm thinking what a dick..sitting there gotta be security..next thing I know..lights pop and of course I'm stoned..weed in the car..two cops shot out and shielded themselves with the van doors..I swear I thought they were gonna draw down on me..I opened my door so I could speak with 'what are you doing'? 'are you an employee'? 'why did you back into the space'? 'why did you park away from other cars'? this is 8pm at night. 'are you serious'? raised my bag with half eaten muffin 'um, I shop here?'

should I complain to management?

WTF world are you living in?

Here in America, the bullies with badges IF they are caught red handed on digital video.... get CHARGED with a crime.

This leads to a 'paid suspension' (Thats called vacation to the rest of us) [this is a reward not a punishment]

The trial will always get pushed back long enough for the public to forget about it, and then vanishes...

Cops are CHARGED..... cops are NOT convicted. Thats just what the media would have you believe, look up the cases.... killer cops are rewarded, not punished, and never convicted....

i feel harassed because I made a purchase..did absolutely nothing wrong other than partake some of my purchase in their parking lot and pickup some free WiFi which is there for the customers.

yeah..next time I'm there I'm going to talk to management..police need to leave peaceful people alone or I don't need to shop there anymore.

Exactly who would you have heard it from if the suspect is dead? I was an armed security guard for a short period of time, and during my firearms training the instructor (retired cop) told us that if we were ever in a position where using our firearms were deemed necessary, we were to "shoot to kill". His reasoning? "Dead men don't tell tales".
