Drug Guy: well... gc is okay for cannabs.. you can use t for breeding because you can see which hae hogher or lower cannab levels

Jeff Revere NdCannabis: the labs around here seem to say that the gc is better for terpenes and hplc is better for cannabs

Drug Guy: yeah it's... probably not great though for type 2 plants, to determine ratio... cannabidiol is more heat tolerant than THC< so more THCA will be destroyed than CBDA, meaning the ratio isn;t exact
Drug Guy: UPLC/HPLC no real different except the amount of solvent used, they are both accurate. We had both
Drug Guy: Public ring test Jeff, they should be done by community groups and published yearly
Drug Guy: you take the same bid, grind it up, divide it up into samples, and then send it to a series of labs
Drug Guy: you can even decarboxylate some of it and send that also

Jeff Revere NdCannabis: one saying 3000 ppm ethanol and another saying 10000 is a huge swing. One lab told us there was butane. We don't run butane, we run co2 and use ethanol.

Drug Guy: this is one good thing about sending ground weed, and then a decarb'd sample.... you can rule out the fact that they may mislabel your sample. You know it's your sampke if it's decarb'd
