So let me get this straight. You were at a bar or some shit and you handed a under cover cop a e-pen here in Colorado. And he arrested you? Felony charges? I thought this shit is legal here

i went to denver in 2014 i sawl evape pens i grabbed some sent them home to self .......used 2500 bucks of weed figuring out how to make the evape pen stuff .....figured it out ....it was aug/sept my state was about to make 10 grams a civil ticket ....i went out to the Ren Fair ......at the ren fair i basically trade shine for goods weed for goods with the vendors ......by the end of the day i am pretty fucked up (not seeing doubles but a very happy drunk ) and i was offering the vape pen to ppl at the ren fair that hang with us (been going there 18 years i look like me i made friends ) ........well the place was closing down so buddy and i left
here is where i get in shit .......we go to this place that has been open for like 80 years makes foot long hotdogs and other things (drunk food) .......well i am standing in line to order and i had the vape pen so i was being happy drunk me and asked if anyone wanted one (the tank was near empty trying to kill it before got home) .........the 4th or 5th person i offered it too was a Under cover DEA ...showed us his badge i say thank u officer and i am sorry did not ask anyone else ( he was cool letting it go did not hook me on spot or anything )
he goes and tells his wife that is dea too she gets all upset and calls the cops 3 cars roll up on me and buddy sitting at a table eating the food ........i was picked up 14 days before they changed the law to a civil ticket ......when i got up to jail they did not know what it was (first vape case) they weighted the whole thing oil tank battery and hit me 33/31 grams made my bail 65000 bonds men was going to let me off with just 4000but the commissioner put a order on my saying the money must be 6500 i pissed him off demanding to use his phone call to make my call after i got the number (i always get bailed out as i pay my father the cash back so he is out nothing)
they had me dead to rights on offering vape pen ........my lawyer got the info off me and used it to talk to the DA .....when the DA figured out the tanks held the oil and they used it all up so the pen is nothing but a smoking device and i had most on me 1.4 mls of oil in the pen(1 ml and 0.4ml tank) .......they offered me a deal 1 year unsupersized probation if i broke anything during that time the charges would be brought back up and gone after (pbj probation before judgement )
the reason i got that was the rehab (been in trouble know the game) i went to sign up the rehab doctor wrote the judge and lawyer a note saying she does not think i am a addict and i have a medical need to use weed ......her letter saved my ass i am still able to work in this field legally because of her .....i just have to report a distro charge on arrest record but since no convictions it does not make disqualify me from getting a permit
