Okay to use oversized mason jars?

I read from one site that using oversized jars COULD lead to a higher chance of contracting bud rot, but that was just one source of information so it could be bollocks. Someone else should chime in and have a say of there own.

My guess is that you should be a-ok as long as you follow the standard curing procedures.

Put a Boveda humipacks ( about 1$ each ) it controls the humidity inside the jar to 62, up or down, keep everything fresh for very long.

I have been wondering the same thing...I had a ton of jars last year and I have some super big ones I was gonna try this season ..the only thing I would be worried about was if so.e of the shit wasn't dry enough it would case mold or make the whole batch smell like clorophil or grass....I am usually pretty careful about throwing my weed in the jar ..if I think it's not ready I don't throw it in ....so who's the largest jars anyone has used and was ok with?...opening up a pile jars to burp them three times a day especially when your try g to be sneaky kinda stinks
