Run it and tell us!Lol I just ordered some CXA 3590 6500k BD's from Kingbrite for my veg and mom tent.
Any guess as to how much lower than 5000k? I'm shooting for over 500 PPFD in a 4.9' x 4.9' tent. DIY calculator says (12) 3590 5000k @ 1.05 mA will do. I'm thinking 15 though. More light, better spread, can be dimmed.Since the 6500 is higher in blue, and blue photons require more energy to emit, there will be less photons per PAR W (a lower PPF).
Probably not a ton since the bins so much higer?bump. How did the 6500k work out?
I'm about to order 15 DB's from Kingbrite, for mother plants. They're currently under an onyx grow, which is 6500k. I tire of the fan noise, this will be a passive build.

Yes that's the plan. Are you gonna run ALL 6500k?
Like a charm for veg haven't tried flower yetbump. How did the 6500k work out?

So it works, but how does it work compared to other CCT's? Any noticeable growth differences in plant development under 6500k vs 3000k or 5000k? Any better or worse than lower temp cobs?Like a charm for veg haven't tried flower yet
Yes I see tighter internodes when vegging under them than I do the 5000kSo it works, but how does it work compared to other CCT's? Any noticeable growth differences in plant development under 6500k vs 3000k or 5000k? Any better or worse than lower temp cobs?
