8 plants under 400w mh/hps

Hello! I started my 2nd grow for about 3weeks ago, (veg period 2weeks) I have 4x RQS Power flower and 4x RQS Special queen, I decided to grow 8plants for shorter veg. I got a pic from today.. what do you guys think? How long do I need to wait for 12/12? They got topped four days ago. (Sorry for the swenglish)

Grow space size is a factor to consider. From seed you won't get much yield unless they veg for a while. In any event it will provide you more experience for the future. Enjoy!

I've grown RQS Power Flower every year for the last 5? years

and if you get it wrong you will have a real fight on ur hands ..lol

they are a SATIVA, not a hybrid or any soft ass indica

they love space and heat just like africa

outside I've seen these plants pass 12 feet high in ideal conditions

avoid the temptation to water oftewn always go by weight

if you water indicas every 7 days do these every 10 days

they will take longer to harvest as do all sats

and not the best plant for a noob, but if you get her to harvest

you would have climbed even conquered many aspects of difficult growing

much respect to this plant,

^^^ totally agree with the not for the inexperienced grower with that strain. But, that being said...as was alos said grow space size is pretty important in the final results with any strain. You've got a lot of plants for that much space. If this were my grow, I would certainly study LST, Mainlining, and Scrog training methods. But this is only IMHO, in the end it is your grow.

Sounds like I have a real challenge going on.. when do you guys think I need to start flower cycle to have a chance to make it? Feels bad to throw away a cuple of good plants, but its maybe smarter to just have 4xPF than all 8?..

Grow them all and pick the best of them to flower I don't have any experience with the strain, but usually most strains have different phenotypes (which basically means some seeds may grow fast and tall, some may be a bit smaller) so you never know what ya have until the final finale. At any rate, from seed, 8 plants is too many for a 400w light, so at flip, pick the best 4 imo and you should be ok with some plant training if it is a crazy tall sativa, good luck!

Hey man i heard one watt per plant? Not sure if correct. So I running a 300w LED for 3 blueberry. Doing great,& I will add another 300w LED for flower phase. But I am germinating 3 more to go with the blueberrys 6 total is legal limit in Alaska. This my first reply! Good luck bro!

So why hard to grow? I have grown outdoors in AZ. Now indoor in Alaska. My first indoor deal.

Wow from what i gathered its a sativa strain belive its a haze variety so u better flower now.

Thank you for your answer! Just gave away four plants to a friend, what do you think about to start 12/12?

Maybe some LST during the first weeks? I got 6tops on all the plants, tied down the faster branches so the smaller ones catched up!

Sounds good! I'm thinking about LED for future grows also! I think its better for the bill than hps/mh. Good luck with your indoor grow and welcome.

I gave 4plants to a friend so now i'm running 100w/plant. Feels easier to work with 4 than 8

How is it going for the blueberrys? Got any pic?

Didn't know it was legal in alaska! Feels like sweden has 200years left to legalization..

Hey holken your ladies look lovely! So special kush #1 just popped up this am! My blueberry s are chugging along @ a great clip! Measured grown like a quarter inch in 18 hr everyday so far! Love my LED,but what do I know! First indoor. So today people can get there license for retail bud stores! Crazy! The Green Rush is on! Wouldlove to visit Sweden someday!

I am finding that the 2 beans from - are kinda weak. Germed in 12 hrs. In soil on the 19th. Cali o popped up yesterday & special k today. 5 days till pop up. I probably anxious, my blueberry came up in 3! They all have there own personality for sure! Cali o a huge seed, special k tiny but appears to be the stronger plant. Go figure!

I live in the "big village" anchorage around quarter mill people here. I want to bring my baked goods to market. Only way to get ahead grow me own. I like to use trim & chronic flowers! Problem is the allowed amount of THC is so low. Ak is copying a lot of Colorado laws. Like 5 milligrams regs say. I stay home & bake,_ cook cause I love it! I will kick back & wait see who makes it who doesn't as far as the retail stores. I will join the later green rush wave, all ironed out by then hopefully. Not even a lab for testing Anything yet!

Looks like a beautiful place , almost like a fairytale city .

Sounds like you have a good plan at the time, might take a while to get everything up and running with the rights and rules, the most important thing is that you have a goal , then it's only motivation that determines how far you want to go
