Hi.

Yesterday we introduced Tweed’s 10:1 Cannabis Oils to our customers after receiving our oils sales license from Health Canada. Although we’ll be selling this new line of products at noon today, I’m writing to you now to discuss something else, the decision in Allard et al. v Canada, or simply “Allard.”

As I’m sure many of you know, the Federal Court ruled yesterday that certain aspects of the MMPR regulations, the regulations that govern Tweed and all Licensed Producers, do not adequately give patients sufficient access to the medicine we produce. The court has given the federal government six months to address the shortcomings of the program in its current form.

Today I want to assure you that Tweed isn’t going anywhere. Regardless of the regulatory changes, we are optimistic that any changes to the MMPR system will improve your ability to get the medication you rely on, in a way that meets your needs.

Even though the details won’t come for many months, I wanted to take the chance to reassure you, our valued customer, that Tweed will still be here to provide a truly diverse product line and compassionate service to top it off. As the industry evolves we will work hard to continue to provide you with the products and services you've come to expect from our team. You have many producers to choose from and we never take for granted that you continue to choose Tweed as your trusted supplier.

The road ahead excites us and we hope you share the same sense of optimism.

Here’s to Future Growth (Still).

They're still in force and effect for the next 6 months. You can bet the liberals will bail out their lp buddy's but it's safe to say the majority of lp customers will NOT be lp customers in 7 months from now as dg's will be ready to start growing and providing superior meds for a fraction of the price that lp's charge. 7000kg on hand and even for $5 a gram they can't move it. I expect the rec laws to change within a year from now to stem the lp losses.
i expect rec laws to change in less that 6 months :) no charges,,,,,,and allow lps to just sell it to anyone....d's...cc's or themselves

Should I hold off on becoming a refugee until this is sorted out? I wouldn't bother you guys long. Just long enough that no one in the US has to worry about being persecuted for this either.

That's is very far from what will happen. There are treaties between nations, that canada as a whole has to work out before any Recs come. I mean why would anyone for a second think this would be such a simple six month process. beats me.

ya what ever...they have to let LP's have their way with the rec world...
..in order to do so they have to not charge rec people and allow LPs to sell online to anyone they wish...D's CC's and store fronts of their own...

the feds will tell the police to lay off and they will collect tax.
When the shit gets sold to KIDS then charges will fly... simple shit
They (the feds)started these LP's, they can't let them fall knowing everyone will go the sick route...and they will if they think that is the only way to grow..

watch it go and ..its gonna go... when things go wrong..maybe they'll deal with that when the time comes.. :)
I mean...whats going to happen...is The sky going to fall????? lmao
just yappin lol

Because it might be cheaper to do recreational than to redo the MMPR.

Basically what is likely to happen is the govt will ask for an extension. There's no way they'll get this done in 6 months, unless they fly to France and bathe in the holy waters at Lourdes.

Assuming they don't get it, after 6 months the MMPR is gone. The MMAR is also gone, so you'll have a Hitzig situation where there is no way to obtain cannabis, and basically free for all.

In the interim, cops don't seem to give a shit.
They don't understand all this shit and, from what I've heard in Ontario, they're turning a relatively blind eye because they don't have a clue what to ask for.

READING BETWEEN THE LINES AT TWEED
Hi."Losers"

Yesterday we introduced Tweed’s 10:1(semi water like-non-effective)"from a snake oil derivative product" licence Health Canada produced" regardless of the fact we can't advertise".

Although we’ll be selling this new line of products at noon today "for approx 10 minutes as a reminder of what things were like before our original 7 patients tore up their MMPR licences", I’m writing to you now to discuss something else, "as usual" the decision in Allard et al. vs Canada, or simply “Dilusional LP's.”

"Today I want to assure you that Tweed isn’t going anywhere" "just like when we started we could only go down."Regardless of the regulatory changes or common sense," we are optimistic that any changes to the MMPR system will improve your ability to get the medication you rely on, in a way that meets "our needs at Tweed first".

Even though the details won’t come for many months,"which we can solely attribute to our employee attitude, akin to opiate with-drawls"
I wanted to take the chance to reassure you, "our valued stock asset " , that Tweed will still be here to provide a truly "obtuse product line and a non-compassionate service to top it off."
As the industry evolves we will work hard to continue to provide you with the products and services you've come to expect as "defective" from our team.
You have many" sub-standard " producers to choose from and we never take for granted that you continue to choose Tweed as your trusted " floor sweepings supplier"

The road ahead "entices" us and we hope you share the same sense of " life disrupting urgency"

Here’s a medicinal drink to Future Growth (ROFL).

Fuck the investors! They though they could make a profit off the suffering of sick people. they get what they deserve. I hope they all go to 0.
Exactly. Stealing from the sick and dying is the Coalition's/Wiltedcocks' job. How dare they steal his job!

Actually, wouldn't a full repeal of MMPR (and mmar) mean a return to full prohibition? This would be like Mernegh where the ruling could potentially hurt us, not help us.

Dizzy.., Where've you been? Didnt you hear? MMAR are still under the injunction!

.you're obviously not part of the injunction. So sorry about that. That means we have six more months of your sufferfing

Actually, no it wouldn't. We have won the right to use marijuana for medicine, now we have won the right to grow. The mmpr is unconstitutional because it does not allow for grows, therefore it was struck down. Any new medical marijuana program will have to respect those court rulings. Judge Phelan ordered everything to stay the same until they make it right in 6 months. I don't see a 'return to prohibition' or how this ruling could 'potentially hurt us'. Nobody is taking away my growing rights, and since Harper was turfed, nobody has even threatened to try. Watch for a much more patient-friendly system as well as an accelerated push to legalize recreational weed.

Yep, Mernagh was not favorable for sure.

Due to Hitzig, if there's not a legal source (MMPR blown away, there is none), the cannabis laws are of no force and effect (iirc Hitzig is what gave us the summer of legalization, but that might have been a different case).

So they have to have some kind of legal source, and the overall program has to have extracts / edibles, and home growing has to be in there. So either they get that done in 6 months or things will get exciting.

They'll drag ass I'm fairly certain. They needed an extension past the 12 months for the MMPR didn't they? And it was still a shit show. Then again, new health minister, and parliament for that matter. Let's see if these new regime adheres better to time frames
