Early flower, powder mold?!

Today is day 27 in12/12 & also my
First semi sucsesfull indoor run...

I have blotchy fuzzy white spots on leaves (& it's not trichomes)
It doesn't appear to have go to the buds yet... It's mostly on the bottoms of the plants

Now my questions...

Should I I apply some kind of spray?
I've been reading to spray with milk and water? But milk doesn't sound right...

And honestly spraying anything on em doesn't sound right ,
Just thinking the moister will help the mold grow...

What I did to one plant was got some really high ph water put it on a clean rag tried wiping off what I could...
A lot came off
But I started thinking maybe it'll come back with the vengeance

So that led me here to ask...

Lights went off about an hour ago

I'm 90% sure it is powdery mildew
Just googled it and that what it looks like

It's on about 3-5% of the leaves in very tiny patches but it is spreading (i think)...

Right when the lights went off I snapped a few pix
Of the flowers not the mildew/mold or whatever it is

Pics would be good but what you're describing sounds exactly like Powdery Mildew or PM. I deal with it all the time as my area (outdoor) is covered in it. Bad news is you got it, you'll need to try and figure out where it came from (outside air being brought in, purchased clones, ??) so you can avoid it if possible. Good news is, some strains and even phenos of strains are more or less resistant to it, so even if it's in your area you can find strains that are almost immune to it.

You can manage it but if you determine it's outside in your area I'd suggest finding strains/phenos that don't get it or resist it. The following help manage it but won't prevent it if it's rampant in your area.
Keep your humidity down as low as possible (below 50% I never see it, above depends on strains/phenos)
Maintain lots of airflow
Try preventative sprays in veg, most of the time if I spray them in veg I don't see it show up in flowering
Tried the milk thing, doesn't work very well and stinks
Tried sulfur burns but I don't like that shit in my room
I spray them in veg and the odd time in flower if it shows up with the following, lasts about 2 weeks, then spray again. It raises the ph so it can't take hold, when it wears off if it's bad it'll come back within 2 weeks.
1 tspn per gallon of Baking Soda
A few drops of dish soap - not the anti-bacterial, regular dish soap
A few drops of oil, for some reason when I switched to virgin olive oil, it seemed to last longer but any sort of vegetable oil will do

Turn off the lights, spray well, turn fans up or add a fan, dry for an hour or two, turn lights back on, repeat every 2 weeks

To clean your room, in case you brought it in with purchased clones. Just dilute some bleach and clean everything, including equipment as well as you can. I clean my room between grows and wipe every inch down with diluted bleach solution every 3 months or so.

Yeah, not seeing it there. When I've seen it, it typically starts on the lower part of the plant, it will continue and take over in days if the strain is susceptible and you don't treat them.

Should I be pulling the affected leaves off ?

Should I be wiping the affected leaves off??

Should I be buying a spray ???

Or should I be counting my losses ?????

First time I got it I culled everything thinking it was a one-time deal. Then I started researching and looking around outside, found it was fucking everywhere, some plants/bushes in my neighbourhood turn white from it. So my advice is to find out where it came from, if it's a one-of thing you got from a clone or something cull and clean. If it's in your area like it is in mine, move or manage it.

Eagle20

Anyone tried that?
Some people do and swear by it,. I've looked into it, too much shit in it for my liking. I'd rather cull than spray chemicals on the plants themselves. Bleach is as far as I go in my room but that's on surfaces/equipment, not the plants.

I use eagle 20 in veg state, once, as a soil drench, when the plant is I'm veg state, at about 10 inches to a foot tall. It is supposed to systematically make your plant resistant to pm. I've never tried it as a cure, just a preventative. It is not safe to use anytime near flowering because it's half life (idk if that's the right term) is 45 to 60 days

Eagle 20 owns but I get tons of shit for using it lol but I also spray very early in veg and have long veg cycles. Scary shit don't mess around with it without full protective gear and gas mask.

As far as how to manage it there are tons of options. Garlic extracts in some organic sprays work as well as high ph water and skim real milk diluted. Google organic PM sprays but if you don't mind spending more cash you can do a PM Wash cycle every three days til harvest.

Do not cut! Worst case you make a bath like Jorge will show you on YouTube. You can always make concentrates so just control it this crop which will suck btw, turn off all fans and carefully remove any heavily affected leaves.

Also you will need to clean everything heavily with bleach after this run as the spores can survive almost anything. If your in a real garden area consider a sulfur burn as well before next run.

I had two pm runs which I still pulled nearly two pounds a plant and an ounce of bubble hash so I've researched the shit out of this one

The PM is species specific so you can have PM all over bushes and your tomatoes and it won't and can't find a host in our ladies. You are facing an ancient enemy here that is evolved specifically to fuck up cannibas

Well it certainly likes some strains, mostly indica or indica-dom hybrids from my experience. I actually keep an initial veg cabinet high in humidity like 65-70% to cull anything that shows signs of PM right off the bat. Any strains I breed same thing, I have one which I used Jack The Ripper for it's high limonene content to give them some resistance and it's worked well. People talk about cleaning and stuff which of course is god practice but if you're in an area where PM is everywhere, there's no keeping it out short of stripping an showering every time you're going to be in the garden, not a very practical thing to do 100% of the time. It's a bitch, if I move again it'll be one of my first inspections of the area - lol.
