What are the dimensions of you heat sinks? How many lumens per square foot? Nice build!

8.5~"x 14"
They're mounted on 19" long L Aluminum with 2" in between the heatsinks.

.....hm. they get pretty damned hot don't they? If it were me, I'd get 2 200mm fans and throw one on each heatsink.
These are cheap and pull 184 cfms. It'd take any and all heat right off them heatsinks

How thick is the base of your hs?
Can you let your hand on the hs or it is too hot to let it on it?

Another thing...why you put the 2 hs so close from the other???
You have 2 hs and 2x 1x1.25ft so 1 hs over each 1x1.25ft would be better and will provide a better coverage and a nice canopy!

140mm fan wouldn't even cover it. Those are 8" so a 200mm one is much more practical

And the heat sink is hardly warm to the touch. My space is usually 77~F and I still will be adding another fan for the girls. I'm comfortable with the temperature, they seem to be enjoying it!

It looks great the way you have it. If they get too warm simply put a clip fan up above blowing down on it and you'll cool both at once.

Yeah when it's higher up it'll also be right next to a 6" exhaust.

I also figured when I expand I could just put them end to end for a larger spread and work on an improved design
Yeah, or just build another exactly like it and run them side x side. I'm doing the exact same thing. I like having 2 seperate fixtures too. I only need to run one dimmed down for vegging and it's not spread across the entire tent.

It's just a suggestion. The fans will only help the longevity of your cobs life. They run more efficient when they're cooler

Yes I'm going to mainline her. I'm still decideding what to try with the Skywalker. Might veg it out into something cloneable and pop 4-5 clones in the tent in her place while I'm training random.

It looks like for the tent space he's in it probably has a pretty decent footprint at the distance they're at. Should dissipate heat a little better further in than right at the edge of the sink yeah?
