For consistency, just put it all in the cup and when its ready put medium in....Don't know if anyone asked but do you have to start the seed in soil or can do the paper towel way? My cups are dart brand, which bought out solo I think.

Im a first timer too. Im a little worried about @needsomebeans because hes growing weedzilla and i had like absolutely no plans to grow an asian sea monster that shoots fire and lightning out of its face. So i feel i might be in trouble now. Its ok because i have a few days left to come up with a new plan to grow a better large reptile monster that will just be a nice non invasive species. Im drawing some stick figure monsters right now that i think could have the potential to become bigger and better than weedzilla so well see.
