Plants 1month old just tplanted into 3gal pots.
I was told that straight pro mix isn't good for growing so I'm wondering if I have made the right mixture.

75% ProMix BX
25% BlueOx Compost Manure. (.5,.5,.5)

Watering: 1 cap full unsulfered molasses/ 1gal. Water 2/3 times a week as need.

1tbsp Nutralime pellitzed limestone/ 1gal. Water 2/3 week as needed.(As a Ph neutralizer and great source of calcium)

Can I get away with this up until chop? Thanks

You will need to supplement your mix with more nutrients over the course of the grow. You can water in and/or top dress. Take the time and read some of the stickies here. It will give you a basic idea of what is needed.

For now your plants are fine and your mix is a start but the girls will need to be fed. Indoors they depend on the mix and the farmer to provide nutrients. Section on teas should be helpful.

it will do just fine for now
pending on strain and if its a heavy feeder ,, i usually go with 50 percent promix bag of sheep manure, bag of sea compost 10 cups of masonary sand , 4 cups of rabbit poo, half cup of bone meal , half a bag of rinsed perlite , 1/2 cup of epsom salt , and once plants use it all up triple 19 ferts till she is done

Thanks guys. All I have is the GH nutes. Could I use those? Or wait until I can get something better? I will work on getting the things you guys listed. Glad to hear they are good for now . I worry about them lol

Nice plants man, I hope mine end up lookin good like that. I will start adding some nutes right away then. Is it bad to put small amounts of 3 different types of water in the same plant at once? For example I have a gallon of water with just molasses, a gallon of water with just the Pelletizd lime, and I'm going to have a gallon for the nutes. Is this okay? If not which should I combine?

I run sunshine mix #4 which is basically the same, I use fox farms grow big and tiger bloom and have noticed no noticeable deficiencies.
I ask because I'm suppose to only give the plant molasses water 2-3 times a week and the lime 2-3 times a week. And this pro mix goes dry very quick and I'd rather give it small amounts of each every day than large amounts

I dont give my plants any molasses at all. I use Fox Farms Grow big during veg, and Tiger Bloom during flower. Molasses only has some sugars and carbs, nothing your plants really thrive off of. The three main elements marijuana plants need are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). All three of these are needed for strong root growth, vigorous leafing, and for lush flowers with high yields. Commercial potting soils are pre-blended with a balanced NPK ratio that will sustain a plant for the first two or three weeks. As plants grow taller and broader, supplemental nutrients are required, which is where the Fox Farms liquid nutrients come in for my grow. Good luck, and happy growing.

Also, Tiger bloom and Grow big are only $20 a bottle at the grow shop. Pick some up and you won't be dissapointed.

ALSO, I believe the soil you're using comes pre-dressed with lime. Google your ingredients or check the bag....

Thanks for that info, I have gave a very small amount of molasses to the plants but will put it on hold as well as the lime and will continue using only 1tsp of each of the GH series per gallon. Thanks thumper.. do I need to worry about Ph since the lime in the promix is a neutralizer?
