short and bushy

I have a plant about 1 foot tall growing indoors atm but i will put outdoors again when the storm passes..

its a female plant and already has a few white hairs coming from the very top.
im trying to make my plant short and bushy, people say you can cut the top off like your doing a clone and this will make it bushyer but im wandering should i cut the top off ? because it has them pretty white hairs. but my plant is very skinny

A Picture would certainly help. Topping is a way to spread the plant out some - bushier. You can read about it in the GrowFAQs at the top of each page.

i dont got any pics but my plant has 5 nodes on each of them is 2 full leaves, i know it sounds like male traits but its a female

I wouldn't top a plant thats got its preflowers.. try tying some of the branches down to expose the inner areas of the plant.. you can do a "super cropping".. see FAQ advanced tech. its pinching the stem to slightly damage the stem to slow upward growth, allowing lower area to grow... luck

ok i tied some branches down but there isnt much iner area's to show

You can also tie the plant to bend the whole thing at a 45 degree angle... I tried one this year and was amazed at how all the small buds and leaves near the stem turned into branches, and shot to the sky....with guess what.... tops... I've got 10 tops on my LST...and about 7 on the bent one.... plus the two on my topped.....
Yaaa Hooo !!!! try it...what you got to loose.... might even gain..

no don't top or clone, just LST *(Low-Stress-Training),your plant, and you will get a very bushy plant.... lst'ing your plant will be so awesome... keep stressing and you wil see how busy and low your plant will get....
