Crocketts Tangie- pheno hunt

I realize this questions not for me, but ill answer anyway, with a resounding NO! Based off 1 pack- ive got several potential keepers- pure tangie smell, orange cream, orange crush soda. Its just a matter of flowering time thats gonna influence my decision, but this is overall a very "orange" smelling strain for sure. I expect the dried cured product to be extremely orange
Orange cream is what I have been looking for! Most of the orange crosses end up tasting like orange peels!

Im thinking of running thru another pack of these. Each plant has a varying orange smell. Out of 7 fem, each their own degree of straight up orange, ranging from spicy to sweet. But all very orange smelling. The hard ind leaning pheno is the sweetest i call her the "creamsicle" cut. Very sweet creamy smell. Looks like its gonna be be fastest finisher. Great structure- no support topped and little lst- she pretty much scroged herself out to a nice even canopy. Theres also "tangie af" cuz it smells tangie as fuck! Then theres a sat dom sweet smelling but very orange smelling. Prob gonna be late 10-11wk finisher. But im def seeing variation off of 1 pack thats why i say fwiw(not a whole lot) she seems to be a good strain to pheno hunt thru

Idk bout taste gimme abt a month. But as of now the creamsicle indica dom is by far my fave. Hopefully it tastes like it smells cuz if it does, keeper fo life!!
I heard about a creamy Jillybean, but my entire pack was orange peel flavor! I got about the same from HomeGrown Fantaseeds, at least it had more skunk to it! It reminds me of wheel bearing grease and orange hand cleaner. I work on cars lol!!!
I might order a pack of Bodhi's Satsuma to go with this! Cali-O x SnowLotus

Ive been eyeballin that satsuma as well. Better jump its almost gone! I prob wnt get to it anytime soon. One if these tangies is def gonna fill the orange flavor slot in my keepers. I grew one jilly clone from harborside. Outdoor tho. Smelt orangish but nothing like tangie. Not that the one plant is a fair judgment of a strain but after that one, i lost intrest in the jillybean

I have 4 fems out of a pack. Seems like 2 identical and then one big and one smaller phenos. Smells of tangerines...sweet tangerines, and sometimes rotten tangerines.

I was thinking really abstractly the other day bongsmilie and I came up with this idea utilizing a bunch of COB leds on a planar heatsink, and then a tree of fiber-optics coming off of that array throwing massive amounts of light in all kinds of directions in a vertical space. Like a central column of light with a really even throw that will diffuse well to prevent bleaching. I just need to find out how efficacious the transmittance of fiber-optics are, but I think I might have something really, really cooled worked out with a full DIY thread here very soon for you vertical guys.

Dont mean to be ignorant peeps but is the dna genetics 'tangie' anything like the croketts farm?i have the dna version 8 wk into flower looks like a skunk#1 and needs a few more weeks to finish.cheerz

Tangie is basically Skunk#1. I've heard that DNA and Crockett have the same cut, and then I've heard otherwise. It's like this mystery hippy skunk that was going around Oregon that these hill-folk were growing for 20 years. I think it's the same skunk that makes up the orange component of Jillybean by TGA. I don't really like pure tangie, but I have several crosses that throw insane variegation in their phenotypes.

Eh, kind of new, I guess. Cali-O x Skunk, wouldn't call it a paradigm shift or anything.

Yeah man, I just bought a textbook on fiber optics and I'm going to talk to someone at Greybar about what I have available commercially. I really do think this could go down though, on the relative cheap. It would kind of look like a Sentinel from the Matrix, if you could imagine.
Like industrial cutting lasers are usually fiber optic, so you can obviously pipe some serious wattage around. I'm trying to design a photon-pump system utilizing a cbx series at the moment.

basically make a resonance chamber and a coupling for a high-transmittance fiber cable. Like a lunchbox full of mirrors and several 3070s or something, and then pipe that around with thick multi-core fiber cables that are fed via lenses from the resonance chamber.

Do you think that it would be worth it to get 2x packs of Tangie??? Choice has a 2x Fem Sour Kush promo and I am going to jump on it! I dont know if I want 2 packs of Tangie or get a cross, Sour or Kosher Tangie sounds cool!
