Should the water in the bucket touch the bottom of the rockwool? It doesnt really matter. But leave it where you can still see the top of the rockwool
Thanks, that what I did on my new one. So the roots won't have an issue getting through the few inches of hydroton before reaching the solution. And in your opinion is it best to have solution in or below net pot?It doesnt really matter. But leave it where you can still see the top of the rockwool
No those bitchs hold to much water. I have to squeeze them out every couple of days when I use them for cuttings .Should the water in the bucket touch the bottom of the rockwool?
I have a seed starting right now so I'm curious too.
Just take a cup of your solution and run through the top once a day or more you can't over water hydrotonThanks, that what I did on my new one. In the last when I started I had my rockwool cubes on top of an inch of hydrogen and the solution was up that high as well, so my rockwool was sitting directly on top of the solution in the hydrogen which I think cause me some root issues that's why I raised my rockwool this time up to the top and I'm going to let the roots feed through to the solution that I have one inch below the pot. On my last one ended up producing the solution down below the book it and let the Rock will dry out and everything seemed to get betterShould the water in the bucket touch the bottom of the rockwool?
