Yes they are...are those 730s in the middle?

BonjourCould someone draw a simile pic of how you install resistor?
Excuse me but what is: w/sf?cutter?
what sort of w/sf are you using for those?
Watt/per square foot?Excuse me but what is: w/sf?
Without sci-fi...lol...we would be sad!
Watch san Francisco! ???...I don't know!
Thanks
so you're saying the resistor goes on the negative wire which is white, correct? Just cut the wire in hakg, and connect back together using each side of it?Bonjour
You should find one in Meanwell 3in1 dimming option...thread!
But for me a regular pots have 3 pôles...so on the middle pole dim+ and on the left one (or right will work too but reversed...) dim- plus the resistor 10k ohm!
Put a pots and dim it down to the max without resistor is what is not good to do with an hlg according to meanwell!
But yes I know it is 7 years warranty so why not push the limit of it???...I agree that it is some very solid and quality drivers...and almost noone use it at minimum power so no big deal in fact!
Same for grounding/hearthing...some do it to hs some don't...I ground the driver with the plug...and all my wires and hs were inspected and tested to find electricity...but everything is ok why should I ground my hs? (The hlg is on the ceiling out of the box with a fan put on it!)

I'd love a pic showing these "metal rubes you use". You mean crimps? If you prefer I can take a pic tomorrow...it will be better I guess!
As you prefer!

Pics? So confused.Bonjour
Sorry I didn't go see the girls today
Crimps connector...yes you are right...X3!
1 for + and 2 for -...2mn to do it
But I squeeze the ones who go to pots to the size of the pots plots this way when I am at full blast I am able to remove it to open the circuit to maybe get an extra 8%!?!

Well I'm at that stage where I need to know how to do this as well.
I don't have a photo, but I made a pretty picture.

So if I understand this correctly the above is how we wire in the potentiometer and resistor in order to use the dimmer feature of the Model B Mean Well Drivers.
Technically the Blue (+) and the White (-) wires from the Driver can be connected to the potentiometer in any configuration, so long as the middle (+) terminal of the potentiometer is used. In addition, the resistor can be placed in either the Blue (+) or White(-) wires, or left out completely, it doesn't matter.
To keep it simple, if you follow the diagram you can't go wrong.
The chart at the bottom of the graphic tells us what value resistor is needed to set the minimum output % of the Driver. The resistor in the graphic has a value of 10K ohm, so the output of the Driver will be 10% when the potentiometer is turned down to its minimum value. The chart tells me if I want to set my minimum Driver output to 30% then a 30K ohm resistor would be needed. And so on.
Hopefully, that's all correct, yes?
Thanks.
