Uhh, what?

You can buy feminized seeds yes. They are supposed to give you females most of the time, but I believe they have an increased risk of hermies.

I am really not sure what you're question is...at all.

The answer to your question is yes. but they will have been pollinated... but it would have pollenated itself. Femseeds are from female plants that have been stressed into hermies and pollinated itself, the seeds from that pollinated herme are fem seeds.

that is why they have a higher risk of becoming hermies, because they came from a hermie plant.

I think this is correct.....and i think that is the answer to your question...

keep growing and smoking!

It's really sad when an adult can't communicate their thoughts in writing, even on a basic level...

in order for seeds to be made you need a female plant and some male pollen.

for fem seeds they use the pollen from the forced hermie on a healthy female so theres less chance of hermies.

Not trying to highjack this thread but the topic of fem seeds & some of the replies make me want to add my .02.
I read a lot of posts on this & other forums about fem seeds & why you should buy them, the why is obvious of course.
Then I read posts where the grower is all beat up over the fact that one,or more,of his/her plants is a herme.
Herme's are where your fem seeds come from peeps. The male flowers on a predominatly female plant make female pollen. This pollen only makes seeds that will be female plants. At least two other poster's to this topic have remarked on this.
The only reason I bring this up is that I allmost never see or read about it in these forums.Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
I guess what I'm trying to say is,am I the ony one who sees great possibility's in producing your own supply of fem seeds & never having to deal with the dissapointment of all male plants?

Think of fem seeds as clones in a bottle

Because crosses that are hybrids make special elite genes sometimes and certain phenotypes are saved as Elite Cuts.

For example OG kush is a CUT only but if you herm and stress the cut you can get OG kush seeds.

So people try to make these Elite Cuts into Seeds by self pollination.

That way people who cant get the cut can at least get the seed.

But if you tried to breed more seed from the hermies you would get a wide variety of phenoes from the original lineage parent crosses. They are not stable.

This is absolutely correct. I believe it was my post that you(thread starter) came across on a different thread. the guy said he had a few male flowers on a predominantly female plant I told him to save that pollen for future use to create female offspring. it can be viable for tens of years. especially on a northern lights plant. Goldmine!!!
