Overheating in Tent

wow thanks.....super good info........you know i really don't know what my outside tent temp is.....cause i only got 1 sensor sitting inside tent.....but i will need to know that from now........so keeping my inside/outside temps within a few points is what i need to shoot for.......thx again

You are welcome, and yes, 100% the goal is to keep temps relative inside/outside. I grow mostly urkel/gdp when i feel committed, when im growing for fun its usually afghani/kush pheno's and sometimes pollen chucked haze crosses. Mostly indoor 70-85f

i live in hawaii like climate and am having all kine problems with temp and humidity...........is your indoor totally enclosed sealed like ac, etc........also do your kush's do ok............friends in the 808 tell me the new strains are real susceptible to all kine shit........not like the stuff in the 70's

I only use A/C with known genetics or clones that i dished out money for otherwise i shut it off. My outdoor is continuously in 60% rh 65-88f never any problems unless i forget to water. My indoor is 60-75 rh% never any problems as long as i have an oscillating fan swinging across the foliage and i use lights at night. My kush crosses do okay, i mosly pheno hunt them. What kind of problems are you having?

My indoor is 60-75 rh% never any problems as long as i have an oscillating fan swinging across the foliage and i use lights at night. My kush crosses do okay, i mosly pheno hunt them. What kind of problems are you having?

i do outdoor by day and shuffle couple dozen 10 gallon pots in for LED by night.veg.....and .i have a grow tent to flower at night full on w 3 450 LED's , exhaust fan, carbon filter and dehumidifier that is vented out of tent......w all kine circulating fans inside going on............the inside tent temp is 81-84.........right now in the night of winter............humidity outside is 81-84 RH.....same as my tent temp..........my dehumidifier brings RH down to 45-55..............im always battling PM in veg plants...............I find it amazing that your RH outside is only 60...........you must live in the dry area like waianae........................my climate is like the amazon rain forest...........

I actually live central, were its all moldy and shit lol. Our average outdoor humidity is 65-70 during a clear sunny day 75-80 overcast/drizzling 90-100% raining. I clean my indoor area once a week to help prevent contaminations, i also use short cabs to veg and flower indoor, which forces me to tie my branches down, this opens up the middle of the plant which drops humidity and allows the inside and outside a breeze with the oscillating fans. The last time i had pm, i threw all my ladies in the trash only to end up with pm the next time around in veg! Just gotta keep the room clean and once you get PM, you need to clean the hell out of the walls, fans, pots ect. Trash the soil, start over because that shit will spread. If you plant outdoors, and night time temps is within 65-75 try to plant in an area with good airflow.
