SuperSoil ... all the way?

So you have a layered soil FULL of water soluble nutrients, and that's supposed to be helpful?
It's just counterintuitive man, and also contrary to ALL the experience, not only from me, but anyone that looks at it logically.
If you want to layer your soil, that's cool, just use different nutrients, guano and blood meal? That stuff is gone rather quickly, washed away, and if it's NOT washed away you are having some gnarly acidity and anaerobic conditions.

You can use it, I just don't subscribe to the method, nor the recipe, nor the technique, nor the reasoning behind it.
Sorry buddy but its not because someone has a different opinion that they dont use logic. My logic is I try not to water to run-off, and also after the soil has cooked for a while those nutrients are held in the soil by microbes and bacteria. I dont understand your logic behind the anaerobic conditions, and the gnarly acidity? not like anyone is trying to grow in straight guano. This is organic, not chemicals..

guano is acidic in nature, like many organic nutrients.
Go test it, also organic amendments typically drive the acidity up when they are cycled.
I never said you weren't logical man, just said that the technique is.

If it works for you, keep doing it.
I just don't like it, it's not a superior way to grow.
For the reasons I have stated.
People grow with chemicals, miracle grow, whatever. I don't mind, just said that the technique isn't the best.
Don't be upset, I wasn't intending on angering anyone, my SOLE purpose is to help people.

If you can use a layered soil like this, and NOT water till run-off, AND get results?
Than go for it man, I never said it wont work, I plainly and clearly just said i'd do it MUCH differently.

Since you told me previously about concentrating on slow/medium/fast release amendments, I have looked at growing in a different perspective.

I finally got my items from buildasoil.

1. Living Soil Modern Mix
2. 200X Aloe Vera powder
3. Barley seeds for SST
4. Barley Mulch

My air pumps is sma I need a new one, only like 45GPH. I want to wet my soil to let it cook with an EWC/Compost/molasses tea.. Would it be ok to bubble a concentrated mix then dilute it? I want there to be as little liquid as possible, so my airstone can bubble it well.
Man, I been meaning to ask you about this. The biggest reason why I was ordering from them is because I could not find the individual ingredients from my local store. Are you in a similar situation?

I talked to my "organic" store, and they finally told me that nobody is wanting the stuff that I want and there is no market for it, but she will TRY to order things if I need.

Dude where I live Im happy Im able to get red lava rock. Only perlite within 1.5hr is miracle gro, everything I have is offline and I try to use amazon as much as possible switching up cards getting free prime. Buildasoils shipping is honestly prettt rediculous comparatively speaking but the guy has good info awesome products and if I lived near it, I couldnt even fathom. The aloe 200x was I think 7$ in shipping alone.

But yes, I cant find anything. How was your true living soil?

Yesss! I feel your pain!!! I was lucky, my "organic" store started carrying a lot more of this type of stuff. I stopped going there last year because it seemed like they are geared towards hydro. I found rice hulls, but you have to buy a dump-truck full. There are chicken farms out here, and it is a popular litter. I had to settle with expanded shale.

I wish I could buy a 50lb bag of rice hulls locally, that stuff is pricey to ship.
So at "build a soil", the craft blend is $120 for a 50lb bag + $30 shipping... The Coots mix comes up to 34lbs and is $55 + free shipping... I priced them all individually on Ebay, and it turned into a nightmare trying to figure it out(not really)! Kelp4Less on Ebay was cheaper, and they had most everything. If I had to source it strictly online, I would start there. They had free shipping on even 40lb bags!

I source a lot if amendments from kelp4less. If you order often you get codes for all kinds of free ship or discounts. I like that they have stuff in smaller quantities so you don't have to buy pounds of crap when all you might need is a little diatomaceous earth or something. Amazon makes you buy stuff in bulk from some sellers.

Not in the traditional botanist definition, they do not.
where did you find this information? I cant find any reliable source online. In my experience, its my understanding that cannabis grown from seed has a tap root and will express itself as a taproot if given the opportunity (grown outside, not in a pot) but clones have a fibrous root system. That is why seed always have more vigor than a clone unless you keep it in a small pot for too long. I generally transplant within a week of germination before the roots have time to show at the bottom.

just do a root ball inspection man
There is no taproot, look at those pics.
when you pull your plant, does it have a fattie carrot-like taproot?
Not mine, and none of the 1000+ plants I've grown in 25 yrs, they look just like the pic of genuity's plant,
there is no taproot there, cannabis has a fibrous rooting system, regardless of how it's propagated.
The rootballs are not different, not at all.
Think about it man, when have you ever pulled a cannabis plant out of the ground and have it have a taproot?

What exactly is a tap root?

I've never noticed a difference in vigor from a seeded vs a clone, with the exception of "f1" or "hybrid vigor" heterosis., crossing certain landraces can def do that, but DNA is DNA man, a clone grows just like the parent.
No rooting difference at all, I've cut open hundreds and hundreds of rootballs, it's the BEST way to diagnose any issues you may be having, if for no other reason than to tweak your soils components.
But with probably 1 inch of the soil, and the roots go everywhere, not down, with any taproot.

According to my reading, and my experience, a plant grown from seed will always be more vigorous than its clone. I have grown thousands of seeds, I used to grow 12/12 from seed and never really got into cloning (always been more of a backup for breeding). The reason why the seeds have more vigor is because they have taproot vs fibrous roots for clones. Until someone can prove me wrong here I am going with that theory.
