Sorry buddy but its not because someone has a different opinion that they dont use logic. My logic is I try not to water to run-off, and also after the soil has cooked for a while those nutrients are held in the soil by microbes and bacteria. I dont understand your logic behind the anaerobic conditions, and the gnarly acidity? not like anyone is trying to grow in straight guano. This is organic, not chemicals..
guano is acidic in nature, like many organic nutrients.
Go test it, also organic amendments typically drive the acidity up when they are cycled.
I never said you weren't logical man, just said that the technique is.
If it works for you, keep doing it.
I just don't like it, it's not a superior way to grow.
For the reasons I have stated.
People grow with chemicals, miracle grow, whatever. I don't mind, just said that the technique isn't the best.
Don't be upset, I wasn't intending on angering anyone, my SOLE purpose is to help people.
If you can use a layered soil like this, and NOT water till run-off, AND get results?
Than go for it man, I never said it wont work, I plainly and clearly just said i'd do it MUCH differently.
