The Macrocosm Theory

Macrocosm : A representation of something on a much larger scale.

Have you ever wondered if the world and the events happening in the word are a direct result of what's going on with you?

Before you say that I'm being narcissistic or have delusions of grandeur, hear me out. I'm not saying that you or anyone else is God, or a god, or Neo, or Jesus, or some other deity.

What I am saying is that we can consider each person as being the star in their own world, the energy source around which their life revolves. Note, I am saying the star in *their own world* (their subjective reality) not the star in THE world (our shared objective reality). If each person is the origin point of their subjective world, then everything you're perceiving about the world right now is because of what's happening with you.

When I think of the world, I think of war. And I believe that is a reflection of what I'm experiencing internally...the war between my emotions and thoughts and actions. All I want for the world is peace. All I want for myself is peace. So really the world, or the world as I experience it, is a macrocosm of myself. It's myself on a much larger scale.

Someone else who is at peace with themselves might look at the world and feel content. They might see the pockets of peace that surround them, as opposed to focusing on the pockets of violence or strife. To them, the world isn't ravaged by war, because THEY are not ravaged by war.

So is one of us right, and the other wrong? Maybe we're both right. We're both observing different aspects of reality that are true for us.

I think it's also worth asking....if we all found inner peace, would we observe the same healing process outside of ourselves? Could we manifest peace on Earth?
