Everyone has their own particular way I suppose, this is what I've been doing for the past 12 months with 100% success rate(I'd always used clonex with great success in the past too, exact same method without the soak stage, it's all about the environment in my opinion), some take longer than others, but I usually get my 1st roots around 8 days, most are through by 12 and the stragglers may take 14 -18, but these are usually insurance/excess anyway and become mulch. It's fairly simple and inexpensive if you keep aloe plants.
Method:
Soak cuts immediately in fresh aloe/clean water 1-2hrs,
dip end of cut into end fresh cut aloe leaf,
poke cutting into (pre aloe/water soaked) root riot cube (I use some of the powdered stuff in the soak too)
place in propagator, spray 1-2 times per day with aloe/water
make sure plugs not too wet or too dry (spray if necessary)
Potted up some 11 day old clones last night, treated with 2 diff types of myco (I have always used great white, until some recent good advise)

I've learned that you can clone from aloe vera but for some reason my cuttings keep ending up wilted do I keep my cuttings in a dark room with a UV black lighting can someone give me a quick step by step on how to clone or the tools I need I already have an idea I've seen multiple YouTube videos like this one take a peek

Yeah man, me too.!!
My white fire ape is ideal for this technique. She has the ideal node spacing naturally, even under intense lighting.
I'm definitely trying this out when my clones are bigger.
Or even on some males right as they go into flower. Or a female branch before reversing for pollen.

Anyone looking for a cheap cycle timer,(eg, 1min per segment of timer), for an aero cloner, check this out
These timers come 3 for £10 or $14 over here, I've just done one and it works, I'm not sure how reliable they are, only time will tell, but this guy is selling them he's that confident with them.
