Hello
i bought five elg-150-c1400b from Jerry (http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/260/elg-150-c-spec-740864.pdf), i wanne ask something about dimming.
This driver has Built-in 3 in 1 dimming function for B-Type (0~10Vdc or 10V PWM signalor resistance).
I wanne use a potentiometer 1-10v, is that possible? Because the driver has 0-10volt Vdc function, if i would use this potentiometer 1-10v would i destroy my driver or even my leds (cxb 3590)???
And if i would use a potentiometer 100k like this one Eaton Electric Potentiometer M22S-R100K (can i use this, is this potentiometer linear ???), could i dimm the driver from 100k to zero?
I would just need this Eaton Electric Potentiometer M22S-R100K(or other 100kpotentiometer which is linear) and nothing else?
if i look at datashet from driver, it should be possible to dimm this driver to zero without damaging the driver. but i wonder if it is possbile to dimm my cxb 3590 to zero too withouut damaging them.
