Ya theres green in the 59 degree box. Im sorry but at 59 degrees weed grows like crap. I hate to say it but that chart is a chart of lies or not for cannabis.

I grow at 60 degrees in the seedling stage. My temps go below that, sometimes down to 56. Never had an issue.

I don't drop them that low again until late flowering but I have yet to notice any ill effects.

Humidity was a tad low but it'll be back up in about 15 mins.

The canopy is at a cool 67. No slowed growth. No excess drinking. No problems at all.

I vote "other" because every strain is different. Even the same strain can have different phenotypes as shown in the Alien × Triangle autos I'm growing.

Yea. I've run all the way up to 80 for seedlings. I like to stress them out of the gate. Growth rate in the seedling stage, at least in my experience, grows hardier when raised in true spring temperatures. These fuckers pop when night temps are still going down into the 40s and day temps may only reach low 50s with only a few hours of light here and there.

They thrive in nature. Ever seen an outdoor grow? It's not just because of the lighting. A side by side grow, same pot size, same nutes, just one outside and one inside with the best light in the world. I'll put my money on the outdoor for the best grow.

The more stress you put on them, the hardier they will be, the more resilient they will be and the stronger they will grow. Just my experience though.

I understand your confusion. The chart is for VPD, not optimal temps for growing cannabis or anything else.

Set/find the temperature range you want for the crops you're growing- such as your preferred range for cannabis, then read across to find the optimal RH range for best growth... AND, it turns out, CO2 uptake.

If the air is too moist, the plant can't take up sufficient nutes. If too dry, it has to close its stomata to defend against wilt. The sweet spot in between allows the plant to transpire and draw up nutrients efficiently while also keeping its stomata open for effective CO2 uptake.

Thus, if you want your ladies to make the most of the CO2 in the room whether it's supplemented or not, keep your conditions in line with optimal VPD.

Well why didnt someone tell me it was just a happy zone chart. That makes more sence because it doesnt look like an optimal grow temps chart. And now i am in the happy zone.

anything below 60 and my plants get purple. then i might start chasing my tail. temps are 63 at night and 77 during lights on. i have low rh so that may be diff than those w rh control. late in flower i sometimes let the temps go below 60 for some xtra color etc. and like others have said diff strains like diff temps

yeah makes total sense, guess they call it weed for a good reason, its hard as hell to kill it lol but yeah people get ridiculous with the outdoor grows, 15ft plants and shit lol

That's how I see it. It also helps to weed out weaker plants to push for stronger genetics.
