Hi.....what do i do to eliminate temperature problems associated with a dehumidifier.......i need it because of extreme humidity.... temperature is 88-91 degrees.....its in a 4x8 grow tent w LED lights and a 6" hyperfan with carbon filter..........any suggestions is appreciated......

I don't think you can really do that, Dehumidifiers are basically glorified heaters your best bet is to try to ventilate your room more i think

What leds are you using? That might be your problem.
three advanced platinum p450's......they run cool
RH80 .......temp. mid 70's
im gonna try and vent the heated dehumidifier air out.......as long as humidity is down i dont think the dry air needs to circulate in tent..........i think?

Are you drawing the same air in as you are drawing out. If so set the dehumidifier in the room instead, not the tent. That way you are pulling in dryer air.
what do you think of me just venting out the dehumidified air which is the heat source........i understand what you're saying, but the dehumidifier inside is drying the air specifically in the tent.......putting it outside will have a higher humidity from the whole enclosed garage.....dont you think so?

ok here is what you do . hook the dehumidifier half way In the tent half way out. so basically it will suck the humid air up from the tent and blow the hot air out not into the tent . this will work . I have done this in the past. or hook up a tube to the vent and shoot hot air out can use duct tape and cardboard if you need to . trust me it works .

thx.....that is what i did right prior to your response...............i figured as long as it was sucking humid air out of the tent ......the heat source was the dry air....so i vented it out a duct on the top of grow tent with a 6" semi rigid duct tube............temperature went from 88-91 to a solid 80-81..............humidity is perfect for me at 45..............still need to tinker.....my goal is to get temp below 80..............

Had the same problem with a dehuey inside my tent during lights off, the temperature range was too small. The simple solution was remove it from the tent, I place it right next to the doors and zip it up so the face of the dehuey is in the tent, but it blows the warm air outside of the tent. Hope this helps.

just add co2 . keep the temps at 80 f to 85 f no issues. 4 teaspoons of active yeast semi warm water mmmmm about 80f and 2.5 pounds of sugar , do this in a 5 gallon bucket with the lid off this trick makes a lot of co2 . try it . I bet you will be responding back to me thanking me later . keeps making co2 for about 7 days. the amount it makes is perfect for your size room will have the ppm up in there about 2500 or more. can go high as 3500 what I use for get the 1500 bull shit . heard of a guy going up to 6000 ppm insane he said it was all good for the plants .
