Is this very, very rough outline a feasible commercial grow room...?

The remaining space would be used for break room, restrooms, cloning and mother (do commercial ops use mothers or just take clones from clippings?) rooms , supplies, entrance, trimming/drying room... Am I missing any key pieces to the grow op as far as floor plan?

The goal would be to harvest ~12 lbs/week. The details/assumptions are in the bottom right of the "floor plan"

The assumptions are:

Each veg cycle = 48 plants / 2 tables / 8 lights / 0 lbs

Veg room = 8 tables / 2 tables/week / 32 lights / 192 plants

Each flower cycle = 48 plants / 3 tables / 12 lights / 12 lbs

Flower room = 24 tables / 3 tables/week / 96 lights / 384 plants

Total = 32 tables / 128 lights / 576 plants / 12 lbs/week

1 square = 1 square foot

Veg room is on the left with each 4 x 4 square having 1 light and 6 plants

Flower room is on the right with each 4 x 4 square having 1 light and 4 plants

In theory, rotate 1 row / week

you use tables, I prefer fork truck pallets at 4'x4'

a fork truck gas powered is easier to cart them around

I'm currently experimenting(trialling) the use of LCD T5 replacement flouro type tubes

they seem easier and cheaper to use in late germ and early veg

a lot of your intended grow, should be guided by your existing customers

as the first rule of capitalism is ....

'the customer is always right'

as in my case 95% of my patients hate trimmed(us style) buds

just 20% is for veg and the 5% for germing

Thanks I really like your reply. I think the 1:3 ratio of veg to flower is about what I have. I hope planning for an 8 week flowering period is correct? Otherwise I may run into space issues. Definitely hear you on the customer is always right mantra - market research is still on the horizon for this grow op. And, lastly, I may try some alternative lighting for early veg and germ as well. I've seen several example grows that stay away from HID at this stage and the plants don't seem to suffer. With electricity costs being what they are, it definitely makes sense. Thanks again
