not a newbie grower although first time growing DNA genetics lemon skunk feminized. Suggested harvest is 56-60 days for best taste. Im 4.5 weeks into flower from first sign of flower. Fox farm ocean soil. Used mykos on every transplant. Veged on fox farm grow big. Now using low feed regiment of ff big bloom and also tiger bloom. I'm experimenting with t5 high output blue and red spectrum. 16 bulbs total on 2 plants at 5-6" from colas. Temp = 75-80 and humidity 35-45%. 7 gallon smart pots. PH steady at 6.2-6.5.
I've recently noticed that I have an abundance of red hairs and a lot of die off on bottom shady fan leaves. Seems a little early for this at 4.5 weeks? low phosphorus? Overreacting and I should expect it from this strain?image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Been wanting to order these beans for awhile, how's the smell?

The plants look great, I wouldn't worry about under the screen, I would have taken clones with those or cut em off.

Thanx for the reassurance! First time I've used HO t5's. And first time with this strain. Lol, the smell alone makes me wanna pick it and just eat it
The smell is very different between the 2 phenos, one is like lemon pledge or lemon head candy, and the other has more skunky/earthy smell. Actually reminded me of a mcd's double cheeseburger, crazy I know. They both had low smell until recently, the terpenes are really coming out now and they smell like heaven. I'm happy with the DNA genetics strain

Just an update to my first thread, I guess I was just stressing over early leaf yellowing, my ladies are doing just fine into week 6. Hoping to have some Amber /milky mix trich's in next 2 weeks! I believe I've mended my soil properly during the veg and flower, so I've debated on using just ph'd water with no nutes from here on out, I'll post some pics at harvest!

I freaked out at 3-4 weeks when I had large amounts of yellow/brown leaves in very short period of time. As this was my first time with this strain and lighting type. But After much deliberation, I narrowed it down to 3 possibilities: my smart pots we're susceptible to much colder temps (being cloth) with lights off and it inhibited root function, or I switched from veg nutes to bloom nutes to early and may of had some Nitro shortage during stretch. Or 3, it's just this strains characteristics and I should take it with a grain of salt and just enjoy my healthy upcoming harvest of medicine bongsmilie

Feminized seeds are more likely to show intersex traits than regular seeds.richard-simmons-featured.jpg
