Insect soap, or something like SM-90.

If I uderstand right, springtails are relatively harmless, and have a 3 month cycle.

lol, i see you had a hard time on getting a response also. i'm dealing w/these little fucks now and cant find much on them. they're so small, i see how they could be overlooked.
i'm in coco, and water to runoff, so how can i keep my medium wet as it should be, and still battle them bastards? they thrive in wet conditions.... i just want to control their #'s before they get outta hand. not trying to go nuclear.

Getting rid of dampness usually makes them disappear.
i didnt notice them until i upped the watering to a runoff twice a day in coco. plant loved the abundant feeding but so do springtails, so i backed off back to how i was watering before i noticed them. i'm new to coco and am dialing my schedule still.
i would think this was a more common thing in coco since practically everyone says to feed to runoff every feeding...i mean, you feed like that and your medium is going to be saturated...i dont know if im the only one with the issue, but im not seeing how 20% runoff every feed can be even remotely dry!
now im back to feeding light ppm (aprx600-700)every 3 days at about 20-24oz feeds, then 4th day the feed is 1\4 strength (aprx200-250ppm) and to runoff.
i upped it in the first place because as i said, its my 1st run in coco, and i kept reading so many ppl INSIST to runoff EVERY feed, so i thought id try, but now this shit....im sure now its drier it'll be under control.

Springtails are not a real problem. I t can seem like they are because are very prolific in numbers but the effort you will exert to erraticate a useful creature is not worth it. Learn what they do and do not be alarmed.
yr right, and my plant is doing just fine. I just dont want em spreading to a crazy amount, so far they are fine. im running a 12 week strain, with 5 weeks left aprx.
i can start fresh then, so as long as they stay in a controlled amount and they dont overrun the pot between now and then i'll be good with them.
i think its under control.

That is why I posted the link to the UC - Davis site. It tells you they are harmless.
