Help!!! - Not growing leaves brown

To let you know these plant have been growing for about a month.
Originally I had them in a mix of peat moss and perlite both with no nutrients added.

I reaized to slow growth may have been because of the lack of nutrients, i transfered them to new soil a few days ago and I was wondering if anyone could try and diagnose them from the pictures.

Also, I am not sure if this is evident in the pictures, but the bottom leaves on both plants have been turning brown and falling off. This has really slowed growth im sure.

Im currently using a 150 watt light and they are a reasonable distance away. I know the one is way too lengthy but that is because he fell over early in the process.

do you have drainage? was there any difference when you transferred them? the stem looks really weak on that one. Im by no means an expert but because you had no nutes at all, its probably suffering from a deficiency or a root problem and obv not a toxicity.
Is the new growth yellow immediatley or is new growth green and turn yellow?

A better picture would help. I would suggest getting them in a bigger pot. What's the rooms humidity and temp? Do the pots have good drainage ? Have you checked your water ph and the soil ph?

I think in this instance you should just put them out of their misey and start over.Get your grow area straightened out first,then research some soil and nutrient options BEFORE you plant the seeds.

the one that is tall and lanky is that way because the light is too far away. weak light has to be pretty close, like 6-8 away from small plants. you raise the light up some as the plants grow. it fell over because it is lanky and weak. you need to give a small dose of fertilizer. I'd suggest you go to a hydroponic grow shop and get a small bottle of dynagrow 7-9-5 if you can find it. you can buy the quart size bottle but you use so little of it, just a quarter teaspoon, for a soil grow that it can be a waste to buy so much and use so little of it. I recommend this one because it has a lot of what plants need. if you can do that, maybe go to home depot or lowe's perhaps and get some Shultz and follow the directions. be careful not to over feed. these synthetic ferts are pretty hot stuff. it appears that you don't really know what to do and there is more to learn. are planning in switching to a sodium light in the future for the flowering stage? this will cost you some money. any questions, ask away.

yea i kinda agree with scrapping atleast the lanky one.... the other one would be nice if it was treated correctly.....do lots of research and rule out problem possibilities depending on your technique and treat for the remaining possible causes..... thats the best help i can give goodluck man! id like to see some updates..

The new soil seemed to really help, so in hindsight I think it was a nitrogen deficiency. Plant growth shot up, and I was really optimistic, but then I began noticing black spots on the leaves. First only in the lanky one, but now in the healthier one. I've done some research and I think it may either be a magnesium defiecieny, or some type of bug: I am unsure. This time I took much better pics. I will post in a bit.

The new soil seemed to have helped in hindisight, seemed like a nitrogen deficiency. they started growing real well as you can see in the first picture, untill black dots and yellow tips started to appear. First it was only on the lanky one and now its on the healthy one. I was wondering if you guys new what this was. I did research, and I think its either a magnesium deficiency or bugs but i cannot tell. Any help would be appreciated thanks!!.
