Anyways, HEY HIPPY, I think that sometimes you get a bit LP crazed. To be honest, in a perfect world for me, you have 3 tiers of Cannabis. Right to grow, Small boutique grows, and big money grows. In that scenario I can have my cake and eat it too. I want the option to grow and I also want to have the ability to buy when I need to, sometimes I might not want to grow or might not have the means. In Colorado that is more or less how it is.

Anyways I can not say much but, good things are on the horizon just stay calm people. All your prayers and voices will be heard.

If you were granted the rights to grow at home for med and rec but you had to sit with the LPs to come up with the plan that would allow home growing would you? Would you work with the Gov and the current industry to hatch a plan for home grows? Would you sit and be friendly with the people you hate so much in order to achieve your goals?

Well I don't see that the LP's have any say in anything beyond their business. The government ..sure I would. If it's legal and I can grow, I could care less what the LP's do. I don't need them.
I'm not all giddy about legalization like some folks are at this point, because we don't know what it encompasses.
Many see the LP's as a reason to stop home grows. This is the reason they were approved by the folks who hate inexpensive meds and providing for yourself.
It's clearly a money making scheme by those who want to get rich off it. It's plain as day.

I realize that is seems to be that the younger guys on here are happy to be legal and will buy from where they won't get in trouble. Us older guys who've been kicked around don't go quite as easy.
The younger gen seems to be more compliant than we are. Now they just will buy from anyone who will sell to them legally. What a shame they don't get the big picture better.
If the mmpr had not sold any or very little....the tide would have already turned in patients favor.
Instead thousands ran to the scheme just to get legal. And in return didn't help themselves at all....duh. And I told em right from the start too.

Different temperatures at which you purge changes the consistency of the final product. Don't quote me on this but the range is something like 90f-150f. 90f giving you a budder/crumble consistency and 150 gives you an oil consistency. Shatter is in between, around 120f I think. However these temps change when you use a vac oven, because the amount of vacuum changes the boiling (melting?) point of thc. Apparently the boiling point of thc at full vac is only slightly above room temp, so when on full vac I wouldn't even heat it

You have to realize LPs are here to stay weather you like it or not. You can try to work with the Gov and the current industry or you can work on your own and sound like a tin foil hat kine of guy.

Not everyone can grow. Some people want to buy it, some people that grow want to buy it too. Heck I am a connoisseur, I want to try everyone's bud. I take it you do not want Canada to be a leader in Cannabis industry and science? I am not saying to sell your soul to LPs I am saying it is easier to talk about issues in a calm cool collective manner then it is to stomp your feet and cry about shit you will never control.

Why not work with the industry to help develop wold class Cannabis, Tech, Science, Cannabis standers on all levels from Law to growing etc etc... If you could be more diplomatic in your ways you could get what you want a lot easier. At this point all your doing is singing to the choir. You could put your energy to good use but it seems you prefer to just cry about LPs everyday.

I am the 1st to say they all suck in terms of strains, growing ability, knowledge of Cannabis. But they have money and power and they are not going away and with time they will get better.
