I doubt it. The blue end of the spectrum is all you need for veg unless you want more stretch.
I'd be more likely to try something like this (purchased for outside my house):Kobi Electric K6L9 15-watt (70-Watt) PAR38 LED 5000K
Less than $30 delivered from Amazon.

I'm finally upgrading my system from 400 to 600 watt light. Just picked this one up. Should be an upgrade over my old magnetic 400's. Although I gotta say they might buzz a little bit but they've been workhorses for me.

Im running a 600 w right now, temps aren't crazy and the digital ballast i have is a lot quieter than the pumps for the DWC.
600 is said to be best bang for your buck.

I would say is get some exotic strains to add to your garden.
Light Saber by Exotic Genetics looks like some FIRE!
Invest in a good LED System or DE system if you have the space and heat control (BML Horticulture) or maybe its time to spend that money on DIY COB's!
