it may not be the easiest or healthiest but its the easiest way to make a healthy concentrate. unless you plan on doing a lot of research on butane as a chemical I wouldnt rexommend using it. you could use an alcohol to extract but there is a bit of learning curve with that.

Rosin if you plan on dabbing. All you need is a hair iron, some parchment paper and a bud or some hash. hash will require a micron screen filter. Skip the dry ice if you want to dab, but dry ice is fine if you are after lower quality stuff for topping bowls and putting in joints.

Can I make rosin from trim?
From what I understand, rosin = less yield high potency and concentration and more of sticky dabby substance compared to bubble shaker bucket bag = high hash yield with lower potency more of powdery substance ..
In a nutshell, is that correct?

I can agree.
However, I may use the bubble for an alcohol wash instead of resin
Never actually did just trim before. I usually just get rid of it.

Bubble rocks. He said purist. Rosin is more pure than bubble.
I like flowers over everything tho.

i also love flower.., it has more retained terps but a little more plant matter and possibly stalks as well than the rosin.... bubble would be more like the flower
he also said easiest and quality bubble is fire, no real reason to take extra steps besides saying every last speck of plant is out.....but ive seen quality bubble not have any under microscope

That sounds like a really good idea. Would common sense say that bubble to make rosin = higher rosin yields compared to using small Nugs of buds to make smaller amounts of rosin. Is that right?

Some buds will give you %30
You get a lot more rosin from hash as opposed to flowers.

If you do bubble right. You have only trichome heads. No stalks , no plant matter.
Rosin is removing the oils from the waxy membrane that is the trichome heads. A dewaxing.
Rosin is great. I like bubble / ice wax more too. Nothing like full melt 73u ice wax... or full melt dry sift
They're both pure and clean and same with 99 dry sift.
Rosin is the easiest method though.
