So im about to assemble a Living Organic soil from Buildasoil.com. This will be for 8 plants that are currently cloning. They will prolly be transplanted into one gallon pastic pots and then 10 gal fabric pots for flowering. Please let me know if this is a good start and if im missing anything.

do you realise that the top link, rhat kit thing, is only for 1 cubic foot of soil? personally I think you could get all these things cheaper at a garden store.

even cheaper go find an organic farm and give em a few hours.labor in exchange for some of their best suited compost mix.

I planned to get three of the big boxes. Makes 9 cu ft each.....over 100 gallons of soil. Its winter.....not many gardens around here are doin much.

I'm way up northeast and farms are loving it right now. a lot of them are mixing up all kinds of shit for next year since the temps have been allowing it

Did you notice the very short "cook time" for the Clackmas nutrients? It says 2 weeks!!! Wow, I wonder how accurate that is?
I could be wrong, but it looks like you have everything that you would need!

This was a note on the webpage:

NOTE: Don't be afraid to use slightly less soil than listed above, organics are forgiving and slightly stronger is fine. In Fact, Some people use Double the nutrient kit with great results, I've just always been a less is more kinda guy.

Mix and then let sit for 1-2 weeks before planting.

How much is this going to cost you? I plan on doing the same thing soon, I have the "Craft blend" and I still have enough for 50-100gal, but I might check out the Top-Dress kit and Re-amend kit soon. I am about to dump my old "super-soil" in my yard to patch up bare spots lol. I hope that it dont cause more hhhaa.

Decided not to purchase the products. I have some old soil that I kinda neglected and im goin to try and bring it back to life with ewc, tea, and maybe a few reamendments. Not sure if it will work....soil has been neglected for about 2-3 months. But i cant afford the build a soil stuff ATM. Maybe next time. Thanx for the well wishes my friends!

I think that just the Clackmas nutrient kit would be a good start. I have been fooling around with recycled soil that I have not had good results with, and I am ready to dump it!

it's not too late to start a leaf compost man.
I'm doing mine this weekend.
I am also going to do a thread about it as well, people keep asking about my method.
I have a metric-fuck-ton of leaves...

The leaves have finally stopped falling over here. I have a wood chipper that works well with breaking leaves down. I can add my rabbit/chicken bedding at the same time...
I have a friend that did some yard work last spring, and he bagged about 100-150gal of leaves and left them. I loaded them into containers and brought them home, they dont look fully composted yet but they are close.

you're saying that the chipper is great for mulching, right?
I just want to make sure you aren't mixing fresh wood chips with the leaves, it'll rob all their nitrogen.
Course if you gave that two yrs or so it'd stabilize a lil.

I made like an igloo shape with all my bags of leaves... cuz i'm a dork like that.
plus my dog liked it
OH, --mental note--. if it's cold where you are, adding shredded leaves to the top of your wormbin helps keep em warmer.

You taught me to find the good stuff mann!!! I just walked out in my back yard to find this. It crumbles apart in my fingers if you didnt catch that.
