Grow Help...

I have yet to pick the seeds the nutrients or anything... From what i have read the lights and cooling system is whats going to cost the most so i would like to get that down and start from seeds then... again thanks for all your help.
If you're on a budge, there were $200-$250 CMH options in that thread I linked to. CMH requires less cooling. 8" fan is what you'll need. I like using a variac to adjust the speed, it's quieter than those $20 dimmer-like controllers (they create buzz). Phresh makes a Hyper fan with a built-in controller. I'd like to try one of those.

growweedeasy is a more topical resource. You might find that better than a conversation. (I wish we had a wiki here and could create something like that.). It's like an entitlement mentality. You can only learn by doing.

You have a lot to learn. It takes time. Look in the General forum for a recent thread titled "elite." There is a ebook you can download. If you search, you can find other ebooks by Cervantes and Rosenthal.

I would really start with one grow under one light, learn as you go. People waste a lot of money going gangsta all at once.

Personally I'd section the room off, probably do a 6x6 veg room and 10x10 flower room (something like that), and start by furnishing the veg room, since you'll be using that first. That's where I would start at least.

That sounds good to section the room off in the veg/flower room and for the veg room how many of the t5 4ft lights do you think maybe 4?

Have we discussed heat yet? 1000 watts of T5 in a 15x15 is gonna be hot. Like real hot.

I was thinking about having a thermostat hooked up to automatically kick on the fans in the intake lines once a certain temp is reached...

Sure, on most days. Also, I just noticed you are thinking 1000 Watts of T5s AND 1000 Watts of HID in this 15x15 area that is going to be partitioned off for veg and flower. Did I get that right? You need to consider a backup plan for heat on days when its not so cold.

If you can rig it up that's ideal. Remember to filter air coming in from outside.

OP,browse around this site. There are tons of threads just like this, most of them are a very short read. People think they're gonna string up 10,000 watts and be flippin lbs by the end of the week and they haven't cracked a seed yet. Its like tryin to build houses when you've never held a hammer, you're not gonna get rich from either. Start small a light or two. Get some experience, make a plan, if you think you want to do then expand. Theres a lot of shit that can wipe out a grow quickly, cost a lot of money, and possibly your freedom.
