That's not quite accurate. The RCMP are acting as municipal police in BC and while they operate under the rules of the federal force, they are answerable to the mayor and town council and take action on complaints they receive from citizens. If a mayor fabricates complaints of sales to kids, the cops have to act, Ottawa isn't involved. The niqab thing was dropped quickly to make good on a campaign promise while the Allard trial is mostly unknown except to us. Bullshit, but what can we do except start making noise...the 'squeaky wheel' method? I wish Trudeau or the health minister would show some leadership with our plight,... or maybe the judge could do what he gets paid to do? I still feel positive about the outcome but I'm tired of the wait. April 1 will be 2 years of this shit, enough is enough. The problem is we are easy to ignore as long as we are quiet... Anyone know how to organize a national protest?
