1k Watt vs 2 600 vs 8 bulb T5HO

I never did this, and if I take more than 30 seconds to think it through I'll probably realize that the math just doesn't work... but if the configuration of your grow space was such that you had no choice but to mount the twin 600s side by side instead of end to end, how practical would it be to use a "Y" connector to split your ductwork before it enters the hoods, and then another "Y" to rejoin them to a single duct on the other side? Obviously you'd need a bigger inline fan, but what sort of changes would you need to make in the size of the ducting to accommodate that? I know this sounds completely off the wall, but I've never seen that done, and I'm sure others have solved it before.

Thanks - yeah, I figured 6 to 8. But if you asked me to explain why, I couldn't tell you. Just a semi-educated guess, I guess.

What about the fan? What sort of calculations would you need to make to determine the fan size? My guess is that theoretically, you shouldn't need any more powerful a fan for odor control, because either way you're still moving the same volume of air from your grow space, but you'd need a more powerful fan for temperature control, right? Because there'd be only half as much air moving through each hood. I guess you really would need the cool tubes.

Inline fans come in inch sizes.... The cfms are roughly the same from brand to brand...... A six in would do it but an eight would be better....... Youre complicating things tho

2 sixers in cool tubes straight thru the tent..... Filter on a separate fan

not with a 1k its not its lots of work i did perp 3 rounds harvesting 8 pounds every 2 weeks and its lots of plants at different stages clones pre veg and veg pulling plants all the time and plants in all the time to get 2 week harvests TBH i was burnt out after that and said fuck that no more

I wanna do that every month. not 2 weeks. so your saying that's impossible?

Bankee do you have a plant limit ???? this is how i did mine i mean your plant count is the problem for instance i put in my flower room 12 plants and in 2 weeks i put another 12 marked , and in 2 weeks yet another 12 plants with a different mark etc at 6 weeks i got 48 plants in sequence and in flower yet another 2 weeks later another 12 goes in 60 plants total on this day week 8 i pull out first batch of 12
then from there your set but remember 60 plants in flower
in veg i had anywheres from 120 - 200 plants again from 2 " fresh transplant etc vegging
with clones being takes 21 days to show good roots i have around 300 - 400 clones
So adding it all up and this is not one week n flip this is 5 week veg so everytime your putting plants into flower there 5 week olds from rooted clone .

Total plant count 660 plants and trust me it will fucking run your life i mean ever day min 6 = 7 hrs of work either your cloning , making soul , transplanting , did i say transplanting ?? hahaha 3 times before there in flower did i say watering day 300 gallons 12 hr job when you get up n personal with plants man like i said did a few rounds and guess what i fucking stopped growing i was sp burnt out and most of all the fucking house smelled non stop of pot to the point where you get a headache cause your not only growing weed you got them in flower , and also drying

so yea it was a gong show specially by your self month apart will not be that bad but again its giong to be work

yeah I have a plant restriction of 6 mature or 12 immature. this obviously will exceed my number a little but I can deal with that. just wanna keep 12 total. 4 starting 4 at 4 weeks veg and 4 at 4 weeks flowering. that is correct right?
