So after 2 months and thousands of dollars in building my room i turn on my 600W digital ballast and now my home phone system is jacked up with interference and this is not going to fly with the wife. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I was thinking of wrapping it in tin foil..

Any help would be appreciated.

What brand/model?
I've heard of rf signal issues w/digital ballasts, so if there's a remedy, I'm sure it's known by now. Good luck.

I was about to order some 600 digi ballasts, Iv been looking at the lumatek though, they dont seem to have the major interference issues like the galaxy.

I'll be going to HTG in the next couple of month to get the same thing. I've read enough to warrant extra cost. I wanted to move up to a 600 anyway!

Thanks to all that replied and gave advice.

I have to tell you all what happened with the ballast. I had plugged it in on Wednesday of last week for the first time. I never use the house phone but i had answered it Friday and it had a lot of interference. I assumed that it was the the ballast and posted this BEFORE I had waited for the 12 hr dark to finish to unplug the ballast to see if it was the problem. SOOOOO i unplugged the ballast and still have the interference so the ballast is not the problem. I apologize for jumping the gun on this issue.

thanks again.
