Last year only 240 rifle homicides vs 5100 handgun homicides and total of 8120 gun homicides.

The is a huge difference. An assault rifle has nothing on a 30.06 bolt action when it comes to penetration and range.

A semi auto rifle is not called an assault rifle except by political opponents of guns.

All guns are built to assault. Fully automatic weapons are built for the human Battlefield. There is only one difference between an automatic weapon and semi automatic weapon and it is clear and definitive.

Interesting data, just out of curiosity I was wondering how US ranks in murder rate (by any weapon) and found we are ranked 121 out of 218 countries. Glad we are not Honduras!

You cannot purchase those in the us. Unless you are military or a criminal.

Do some research. Machine guns are not available to the public.

All rifles are semi auto meaning you have to pull the trigger for each bullet.

That depends on which state you live in.
