Controlling through-the-roof medical costs

Lol Yeah it's a real deal, wish you could see it. I think it has $6000 deductable, no x rays or er stuff is included and pretty much everything is out of pocket. All it's good for is a major medical issue so I don't go bankrupt
My sister was unable to find a single doctor in town who would accept her ACA insurance. What was your experience?

I beg the difference I have insurance and I have asthma I pay at 420 a month for just me with a $5,000 deductible and everything is 100% covered after that including copays so once I hit $5,000 I pay no more
So $10,040 you spend before the insurance pays anything?

UNIVERSAL MEDICAL CARE AND COVERAGE. Then there will be no 'uninsured' patient who 'can't afford' to pay.

And before the haters pile in with pronouncements about how the wealthiest nation in human history would be bankrupted by such a scheme, might I suggest looking at the defense budget.
We are not the wealthiest nation. We ARE the biggest debtor nation. The defense budget is far less than we spend on healthcare

He tried to introduce universal health care and even his own party balked, remember? He passed the bill he COULD. Don't like it? Tell all your REPUBLICAN friends.
Wouldn't telling all our Democrat friends who controlled the House, the Senate, and the Presidency have been more effective?

If you take the 5k and monthly.payment then I woukd say yes your correct. I did not do the math and assuming yours is correct
Well, that is just shitty insurance. For 99% of the population. it is better to just pay the fine and pay for your healthcare out of pocket.

They definitely charge more when you have insurance. 84 dollars without insurance and 170 dollars with insurance.
Da fuck?
That's because Federal law requires them to cost-shift, a practice against Federal law in any other industry.

The only way to reduce medical costs is to gradually remove government and insurance companies from the arena while replacing it with a free market solution.

Here is a true example. Go cut yourself real deep and get 5 stitches, 10 minutes of your time if the doc/nurse/homeless person sews slowly, $1600 bill. Go have both eyes lasered to improve your vision from 20/70 to 20/20 for $800 an eye.

Which one is free market elective and which one is covered by insurance?

I still haven't signed up. All signs point to it being a complete hack job as far as care goes so I'm going to go through private options instead prob.

I myself haven't been to a doctor in about 8 years and haven't had insurance since I dropped mine when obamacare started so for me it's been a steal to pay the penalties so far compared to the premiums.

Fuck the "founding fathers". They're spinning in their graves at the fact that I'm not walking around in chains. Fuck them.
Liberty is still evolving to this day. It was legal then. Government knows all then, and knows all now. You're fellow Marxist friends here will agree "government knows best" its their parent, God, and sexual partner.

We are all quite happy that your opinion is the minority and your ideas are based on hypotheses and not actual fact. We are all also very grateful that your decisions and opinions affect absolutely no one.

So for that I thank you.

You have alluded to a false concept....that a majority opinion can convert a specious opinion into a fact. Your allusions are illusions.

You're welcome.
