During flush do you wait until coco drys to water?

I'm just wrapping up my first week of flush with RO water and Flawless Finish. Next step for me is to run 10-15 gallons of regular tap water threw each pot to bring the ppm of the root zone down to 200-300 then it'll be just RO water till harvest. My plants are drinking much slower now. I used to water 1.5 gallons a day in a 10 gallon pot with 100% canna coco. Now in flush it has been 3 gallons at once then 2 days no watering because the pots feel full of water. How often do you water when flushing a 10 gallon pot of coco?

I'm trying to avoid overwatering and bud rot.

Some plants in my garden are drinking slower than others... Should I wait until they dry to water them? It could take 5-7 days. I'm already at day 47 of flower and wanted to start cutting down on day 56. I could start with the fast drinker and over the course of a few days work my way over to the slower drinking plants. Hopefully by then they get 2 solid waterings in.

Please share your experiences. Thanks!

I feed 'em right 'til the end them when I chop 'em off at the butt I stick their butts in some RO water. I do clones 12/12 from the bin and each snip will suck up about .5 litres of RO water over a 12 hour period, then they're done.

It is virtually impossible to flush for the purpose of harvesting through the root zone.

I feel better knowing that the buds are drying with purified water over res water.

My experience is this. Never let the coco go dry, that is a big no-no. I have found flushing to extend my flowering time. Now i just start cutting back on the nutrients. They need the nutrients to finish. If you cut back too soon,or too much...... they pretty much stall, and they won't finish properly. I think of my plants like athletes. if i want them to finish the race, I better give them what they need. Don't give them what they need, and you're just prolonging the race. IMHO flushing does more harm than good. Cut back, and they start to fade and mature naturally. Flush, and leaves start dying within days, which just slows them down even more since they cannabalizing on themselves just to survive. Can an athlete stop eating, and still reach their full potential? The funniest part is people think if they don't flush their crop is ruined!!

WE GOT A NEW RECORD!
1 myth and 2 mistakes in the first sentence!!!

Flushing is a myth!
You flushed = mistake!
You used "Flawless Finish" = EPIC mistake!

Starving plants at the most critical time = PRICELESS!

Flawless is how Adv. Nut(s) steals money from unsuspecting novice growers by lying their ass off and you believing it!
The Finish is them putting YOUR money in their pocket for something that does nothing! (But empty your wallet)

Proper l-o-n-g dry & cure is the true solution to taste and burn.......

What temp and humidity should I aim for in my dry room? How long should I dry?
Do you have a "go to" tutorial for drying & cure? I am new but willing to learn.

This round was a pheno hunt. Next round will be a mono crop. By then I should be able to do a true side by side test.

70F (little higher is ok, I don't like it lower)
50 - 60 RH (the higher the temp, the higher the RH.....I tend to start my dry at 60% and slowly lower it as time goes by.
It should be taking you about 2 weeks to dry.

Curing is done by placing your product in glass mason jars and top them to seal.
Everyday you "burp" them by opening for a cpl of min and closing them up again.
Do this for 2-4 weeks at your pleasure but,,,,not less then 2. I tend to finish about 3 weeks..

Judging by ash color is not the way to tell much at all.......How even did it burn is better.
As far as taste goes, Your rather shot in the foot attempting a side by side.

It was found years ago that given a task to find a difference between things being tried out for any difference IN taste...
The brain WILL find one - even if the things being tested are EXACTLY the same!

Good luck

I don't torture my plants until after I chop 'em down, and that only goes on for twenty four hours before I hang 'em up to dry:)

Not everyone's brain is broke. I can tell everything about any bud I ingest, while most people aren't even aware of anything past the combustion cloud.

Internet growers typically think soil flavor is strain flavor. They doubt Cannabis experts could sort their unflushed bud with accuracy, because the braindead idiots who buy their Internet forum-style weed can't. They think Kushy Juice is a fertilizer not a perfume. They sell weed that makes people sick and smells like Seranade and Greencure. You can't interact interact with people like that.

I have a strain that tastes like royal gourmet mango sherbet, and the leaves are bright sherbert orange. The flushing practice is a part of that strain, as is the specific soil. If any Internet growers think their nasty unflushed dark green blando cookies bud will stand a chance in the craft market, get real. You need more than pop genetics and Instagram clout to hang with the big Kids.

FLUSHING is a MYTH!
You can NOT "flush" anything out of a living plant!

royal gourmet mango sherbet,
Hmm, TRG is a jelly/Jam company in the UK (The "RG" being "Royal Gourmet"). They have a mango habanero but, they don't make any sherbet..

You bitch up a storm but, take bro science to new heights of dbl talk on a subject with NO backing from real science!

I call BS! I always will!
