That will work to start, I would suggest flowering immediately when you see the sex, this way they don't outgrow your lights. Good luck !

First of all grow some balls and do what you want with your life.

Second, divorce the succubus you have found yourself tethered to and move on.

Third, see how much prettier everything looks when your vision is not clouded by somebody else's view of the world.
 
It aint that easy when there's offspring involved. I would put up with hell for them. I'll never leave em. At least not til they're around 18. I see what you're saying though.

Well.. nobody knows the plant as well as you do.. but I would top just to get a clone.. never know she might be the next big thing.

Me being the noob that I am I just dont want anything to mess it up at this point. Once I get set up a little better with some real seeds and lights with proper growing conditions I will definitely be trying that out. Cloning seems to be a good plan. This thing might not even be female for all I know. If you saw my current setup you'd probably laugh, but I give all the credit to this plant. It's a trooper and I care about it.

Well I am gonna start flowering pretty soon but I'm faced with a typical noob dilemma right now. The roots are growing out of the bottom of my 1.5 gallon pot and the pot is a wide shallow type. I do have a 5 galloner and I was thinking of just cutting off the bottom of the current pot and sticking it in the new pot. I just dont want any stress for the plant. I'm wondering if it still has room though since it is a shallow and wide pot and maybe it hasnt filled out the sides yet. I've seen lots of people have grown in 1 gallon pots successfully though.

At the expense of sounding like a hippie, a little love goes a long way when caring for a plant.. Keep reading, and keep and open mind, growing has come a long way when I started... there was no world wide web.. Its crazy how fast a "noob" can learn how to grow like a pro. Learn by example, find trusted sources to learn from.

Nothing wrong with keeping males either.. you might need pollen in the future to make seeds.

Heh, I bet you would have laughed your balls off at my first grow.. I got the plant so big, it almost filled the closet.. hahaahah .. Its all good everybody started from zero..
 
Thanks. I appreciate your humbleness and your advice/info. This plant survived for a reason, and that reason is to give me some dank nugs in return for all my dedication and love. I believe that haha. It's ok to have faith.

thanks guys. Been smoking for close to 20 years but never considered growing it myself. The one seedling on the far left is from a particularly dank strain (I live in Woodstock,NY so I get nothing but good bud) so I would probably want to grow that one as long as its a female. I just wish the wife would let me buy better equipment and do I myself instead of spending $100 a week and leaving late at night in the winter time driving in the snow to get bud lol. Cant tell you how many times I got my car stuck in snow on my dudes dirt road that never gets plowed.

Hey gbuddy. Thanks. I started flowering a few days ago and its definitely a female. I'll post some pics later if I can. I had 2 issues so far in the last few days. First was when i turned the lights off one morning I accidentally left 2 of them on. One of the tops grew into I and got real burned is now orange. Then 2 days ago the pot tilted in the grow box and was just sitting in the lights for at less 20 mns. Those leaves are also orange now lol. But even after all that its still a female. Not giving up this time though.
 
Well, here is my biatch. She started growing buds a couple days ago so I'm pretty psyched. In the one pic you can see the one top that got burnt and is pretty damaged. Looks like below that its still trying to grow a bud though. I'm hoping I don't take too long to finish, but it looks like a sativa dominant so I would really hate to wait another 11 or 12 weeks. This chic might be laughable to some of you but if you read through the whole thread you might have more faith and respect for the cannabis plant. I know I do.

Tried to get a pic of my lady bug I caught outside before it succumbed to the cold. Threw her in with my plant but she disappears for a couple weeks and then tonite I saw her chillin like a bowse on one of the tops. She flew away before I could take a pic lol.
