I don't care if it has 10 gold medals and a score of 100… are you saying it's the highest ABV @ 9%? This is just not the case if that is what you're saying… the Old Rasputin and I mentioned is 9.5% and the Old Stock 10.2%. Just about any barley wine is 10-12% I do love barley wines.

Also chimay is a nice beer. Best I've ever had nope. All depends what style you are looking for.
Don't fall for tgw hype a lot of beers put out. Personally tried almost all yhe top IPA and some of the local brewers who dont have much distribution are killing it.
Bjcp certification is more difficult the becoming a sommelier.
Currently waiting to do a vertical tasting on tempest double imperial bourbon barrel aged 2012 2013 2014 2015.
Drinking Amsterdam boneshaker.

Genuinely frightening...Not recommended for newbies.
Honestly, I am not Canadian enough to handle Quebecois beer.
Although, I never tried it with poutine. Maybe the potatoes would sop up the extra SMASH (it's not a 'hit') of alcohol, and make the beer more tolerable.
