Does HPS add to finish time?

Lmao. You sir are completely wrong.

. Look up phytochrome response.

730 nm triggers phytochrome state within minutes.. at sunset or at lights out indors. So the plant needs only 10 hours of phytochrome state. Therefore plants can run longer days of 14/10 or 13/11 and flower and produce larger yields. Without the 730nm wave length it takes the plant 2 hours to go into its phytochrome state. Most indoor gardens lights don't produce this wave length after lights out. So that's why they need to run 12/12. So they still get the 10 hours of phytochrome state. If it were just hormones then revegging wouldn't be possible and all strains would be autos.
You are sooo fucking far off base it's laughable. Hormones are responsible for physical responses in plants. You can reveg plants by simply supressing florigen levels... by keeping the lights on.

So this magical wavelength only occurs when you turn the lights off??

Light frequency and duration play critical roles in how a plant developes.

ie: the frequency of light refered to as soft white will cause mj to show sex even under 24L/0d. Daylight frequencys and cool white frequencys will not cause the plant to show sex under 24/0. However if the daylight is cycled into 12L/12d the mj plant will show sex.

No u turn on 730nm leds or floros for 5 min at lights out to.trigger phytochrome response

The same exact thing happens at sunset in late summer and fall.

Stop quoting old ass ed Rosenthal books. That are wrong. Like I said look up phytochrome response. I'm not going g to argue with you over this. We both know along everyone else here that you don't know what you are talking about. All you did was copy and paste for another thread quoting Eds book.

Read and educate yourself. Again look up plant phytochrome response

I'm sorry. Your right. I don't know what I'm doing. That's why I own and operate a 96k watt commercial grow warehouse.

I need to install some LED or flouro bulbs ASAP!! All this time and out plants wouldn't flower? That's so weird.. NOW I KNOW, I'M BOT GETTING THE PHYTOCHROME RESPONSE!!

I tell you what, you post some pictures of your buds and I'll post some of mine and we can see who the hell actually knows what they are talking about.

chill out man...smoke some of your pounds....hyroot is saying that a 730nm light pulse can be utilized to adjust the PR/PFR ratio in the plant faster than what occurs naturally when the lights go out.....it's a well-known effect that reduces flowering time.

Go to the led section check out my thread and many others. Ton of people on this forum run 730's at lights out. The tech has been around for years.

Again here I'll simplify it which I already explained.

Plants only need 10 hours of phytochrome state to flower. Yes darkness can trigger this. In most indoor gardens that dont run 730's at lights out. It takes 2 hours for the plant to trigger it's phytochrome state. If you run 730's at lights out. It will trigger the phytochrome state in a matter of a few minutes. By that you are mimicking sunset outside in late summer and fall. Outdoors in Pacific time zone. Plants start flowering mid august. The sun schedule is 14/10 at that point. Plants are able to flowering because of that wave length that occurs at sunset.

Outside 12/12 schedule begins in November after harvest moon.

So utilizing this wave length of 730nm at lights out to create sunset you can trigger flowering / phytochrome state running 14/10.

Instead of arguing and insults you could actually read and learn something.

Again look up phytochrome response!!!!!!!!!!!!

.those same hormones / auxins are also triggered by topping and super cropping and lst. And does not trigger flowering , but growth.

To say you know shit because you run a wherehouse doesn't help you. It's well known the most giant facilities like that produce crap. Don't know the first thing about horticulture or botany. Those peo people jump in the game. For money. And can't move their shit product so they sell it for dirt prices and because of those people the market value drops regardless of quality.

I've grown thousands of plants over the years and probably experimented more than anyone. I grew my first cannabis plants in 1996. And been doing it ever since.

Yeah, that's how the legal market works. All the guys selling schwag bud make all the money.

Like this gorilla glue at 6 weeks... shit, we might as well try to sell it in Mexico.

And the blue dream that tested with 24% thc and 2 cbd.. yuck.

Ooh, are thin mint is also "a bunch of crap from a big facility. So there it is mr.. "I have been growing since 1996". It's a shame that you have been growing for soo long but don't have the balls or know how to take it to the next level.

Look at that, banger bud and all without a flash of far red light before lights out.

I put the rocky Mountain high signature awhile ago when I signed up. Basically when weed wasn't being grown on every block in portland. And I wasn't aware that portland police don't care if you grow weed as long as your following the rules. Hell, even if you are not really following the rules, they just don't want to be bothered.

We even gave a tour of our facility to our districts seargent. He was VERY cool and gave us some solid security tips.

Imagine that ten years ago? Excuse me officer, can you come look at my huge marijuana grow, just so you know what we are doing and what the layout is.

Crazy times.
