It's not fear, it's facing reality with common sense. I don't think there's even the slightest chance that my little suburb in NC is on any terrorist's target list. The only fear I have is for naive idiot's children in major cities who will pay the price for their parent's stupidity. But, I don't spend but a moment dwelling on it, my kids won't be the ones on fire.

In all seriousness tho, you should be aware that over 70 people in the US have already been arrested over ISIS plots in the past 18 months.
Britain, France, and even Germany who was telling refugees they could come, are now saying no to refugees.
This is not a Republican issue. This is a security issue.
They have just discovered that people have been using copied Syrian passports.
ISIS has infiltrated the fleeing refugees and have been using stolen Syrian passports to travel across Europe and most recently were caught in Honduras trying to travel to the US.
This is not fear mongering this is me telling you what is being reported in the news. Not fox news. I never reference them.
This is very complex issue and deserves respect and a genuine debate.

Isis wants to generate fear so they can rule. Looks like it's working.
People don't seem to understand that tourists are known to be a greater threat than refugees. They also seem to forget the fact that there are plenty of homegrown wackos that pose serious threat daily to citizens.
So close the borders and refuse to help those fleeing Isis and a civil war because that's the right thing to do?

Saudi Arabia has lots of money and empty housing.
We could also unite and drive back is is and protect Syrians in camps on their land.

You seem to be expecting me to live my life paralyzed with fear which, to me, seems utterly ridiculous. Looks to me like Faux Noise is achieving what they set out to do. So go ahead and stock up on ammo and whatever else it is you're doing to prepare, I just refuse to live my life that way.

Are you prepared to send your sons and daughters to get boots on the ground to help them in their own country or is that someone else's problem too?
Isis is purportedly a global threat, so all countries should be offering any assistance they can, may it me military, money, supplies, healthcare or a new country to live in safely.

It will not be good for the refugees to come here. While the majority of people will be cautious, there will be enough fearful crazy people who will let hate take over.
