Good jobs for mechanically inclined males?

So I am still fucking around with restaurants at 30, I make pretty good money like between 15 to 20 a hour, I don't pay taxes like most do because I don't claim all my tips.. FUCK YOU IRS!!!

But I am damn good bartender/server and people like me, I really don't know why but as long as they give me cash I don't care..

However I am getting older and possibly looking for something better. Now I can grow some fire ass dank all day which pays great and all, but this industry is getting over saturated. I use to get 350 a ounce and now I am down to 235, the quality has got better but the price keeps going down.. But at this point of my life I consider it as a profitable hobby..

So my work history is.. start to finish.. First job was at ACE hardware, then braums as a cook, boston market as a cook,then highway construction started as a laborer and worked my way up to a heavy equipment operator then foreman at 18, lol.. then I sold hard drugs, got clean then started serving and bartending, then started growing pot, then had some shitty warehouse jobs, then I worked at machine shop, then a metal fab shop, then back to heavy equipment operator, then as a rigger in the oil field, then back to selling weed, then back to server/bartender worked my way to a bar manager at two different places,then a GM at a hydroshop, then went to growing pot on a larger scale while remodeling houses, now I am back to server/bartender.

I got good people skills and can sell anything.

I went to college for about a year for CAD when I was 22 but hated it, well my college kinda fucked me over..

But I can build anything, I just have a good understanding of how shit works..

I am thinking about going back to school for something, I just can't pinpoint what exactly I want to do, so I am here asking for some advice..

I hate working 70+ hours a week though..

when I worked in the oil field the safety guys Osha cert made great money..

Petroleum engineers in the oil field made 200k to 500k and it's only 2 years if I am not mistaken..

Crane operators made like 120K

idk..

I hear that a degree in construction is one of the best careers at the moment..

Maybe even a CNC programmer??

You can sell septic systems or hire out backhoe rental with operator included.
C20 lic. these company owners make a good living.
You are right about weed now a hobby...800 a pound this month.

Why dont you get a cdl drive trucks around. Ive been a mechanic my whole life and with the arthritis and carpal tunnel setting in. Along with the back pain, Im strongly considering this route.

Got a DWI and tons of shit on my record.. I haven't had a DL in like 7 years lol.. I refuse to pay them..

Plus I couldn't drive all day without drinking..

move to a state where you can obtain a DL or clean up your fines. not having one is too limiting and can create future problems. have you ever considered stopping drinking? clearly that would help your situation too.

Millwright

Cnc cad-cam is fun. Can be interesting on the program end but operation is mindless and gets boring if all you do is opperate the machine.

3D printing is a better route than Cnc now.

Oil and gas is already a saturated market and with prices being low jobs are being lost hand over fist.

Getting into safety is also a great job right now, pays well and has both public and private opportunities. Can be pretty stressful at times though.

Welder/fabricator pays good, around here anyways. A lot of welders are bikers so a criminal record really doesn't mean shit.

Learn welding. A quality welder, especially one willing to travel and subcontract, makes a comfortable wage.

I know a few guys that bought their own trucks and portable welders so they can do field work as side jobs. $60 to $200 an hour.

That's pretty cool for side work, but to weld all day, everyday? No thanks. Never again for me.
We would usually let the guys all meffed out do the welding in my trade. I used to do meff :-(

That's why I liked fabrication, change it up a bit. I use to weld for Woods equipment on payloader/backhoe buckets, you'd sit in one spot all day just to build up a few inches of weld. It was ok but got boring really fast. Last place I worked we built custom semi trailers, all different kinds so you were learning something new everyday, I really liked that job.

Water jet table operator. A good friend of mine made a good living doing that. Anything BUT boring if you can program the machine. The man used it to make some really beautiful works of art. Here's a piece I bought from him as he was moving to Hawaii;

Hey danks good to see you planning. I would not invest another dime in college unless I needed some specific information. I'd leverage that heavy equipment experience if I were you. The crane guys had a nice gig on the construction sites my dad worked at (or so he said).

I would advise you to go back to school and keep your hobby going. If you can make a living off your hobby, I would go back to school. It is never too late to acquire knowledge.
